Reality is Sark is a great OC, an average to above average HC.
Right now he's our Franklin, and after a decade of misery thats not bad.I think he's struggling to understand the nuance between designing the offensive system, and running the moment by moment Offense so he can focus on being a great HC . He needs his Gus Malzahn
If he does this everyone wins , he just has to learn to let go a bit -

OC faults:
- Ongoing stubbornness in the red zone and on 4th down
- Not taking the points after getting stonewalled
- Poor game planning: minimal bootlegs, waggles, moving the pocket. Seemed to play to Arch's weakness vs. his strengths.
- Pre-snap penalties
QB faults:
- Inaccuracy, even with minimal/no pressure in his face - I counted at least 4 throws just totally in the dirt and another 3-4 way over the head of the WR
- Forcing the throw to Wingo for the INT, coverage was there and throw was inside not to the boundary
- Missing wide open WRs to go to the higher risk option (first toss/fade in the end zone to Jaggerson)
Our biggest thing holding us back, is that our OC , playcaller, and the HC are the same person.
Sark needs to hire someone he trusts to run the offense , maybe someone who can tell him when to use a freaking timeout

i really wish he hadn't been annointed , i would have liked to see kj lacey
lazer balls, ground balls, over the head - im not sure if he was off or had the yips.
that said he just got his first real road start against the previous years champions, who played a near flawless defensive performance.
we will only see 1 other defense anywhere as good as that this year , Georgia .
I was expecting a 9-10 win season this summer, and nothing has changed with that -

These make it feel much worse....
2000: 63-14
2003: 65-13
2011: 55-17
2012: 63-21When you cap the margin of victory at 10, it does not seem as bad
yea saying by 2 scores or whatever doesn't really capture how bad stoops would cuck mack brown, those loses were inexcusably bad

That fucking thing right there, in whose shadow nothing good nor godly will ever fucking grow. He is of mixed religion, therefore he is godless. He was adopted by Satan himself before he was returned out of fear of his awkwardness. But he's impossible to marry off due to his lethal dimensions. His mother, terrified, she's fucking abandoned him. And there he is, stood before you like the first of some brand-new fucking species! Any man that you put before him, right, it'd be like entering a fucking threshing machine, mate.

Wasn't even close to the first time I was wrong on the Internet, and not even the most egregious example.
Somewhere out there there's a post I've made, on the internet, where I decried the direction Id Software went with Wolfenstein 3D, making overblown "tech demos" instead of "good gameplay" games like Commander Keen.
It's hilariously bad in retrospect.
BUT... the Chuck Strong Experience broke my "trust the corches!" nonsense for good. I was that guy from Mackovic up through Strong. Even now, while I like Sark and think the program is in the right direction, I'm going to calibrate my enthusiasm.
Wolfenstein came out in '92 , are you talking about one of them ancient bulletin board usenet type systems ? I guess surly has that appeal to it

2025 week 2 prediction thread- SJSU @ Texas.
in Football
Texas 42 - we see some KJ Lacey
SJSU 10 - heavy rotation on the defensive side of the ball early
Rushing Yards - 200
Also we'll see the QB hot takes continue until the end of time , we'll see a lot of 'where was this play last week'
