I'm going to go out on a limb and guess at least a few SEC fans will figure out that Texas and Tennessee are two separate and distinct institutions. And I'm not going to spend much time caring about the ones who are too stupid to figure it out.

Knowing aggy, they are dreaming of everyone reducing themselves to aggys retard levels of ingenuity and call us TU.

What they don't understand yet is that no one respects their traditions, or wants to be associated with their crippling retardation .

We probably just get called Texas , and they'll continue on as 8&4 which has become common on the rant

An aggy “friend”(not really. Kinda hate him but he’s fun to fuck with from time to time) of mine like no shit thinks this recruiting haul is a bigger victory than our Michigan and USC games along with the Colt era combined. Like wtf!?!?!?

on one hand they have nothing else to go on, on the other put a statue in the empty hall of champions.

odds are a good percent of these guys wash out, transfer, or get kicked off the team because prima dona's gonna prima donna with another 8&4 year

Excellent work, you Alliance morons. You guaranteed the SEC still gets two teams in each year at the expense of at least one of you.

I don't get the play here either , this is broadcasting a few things

    1. these schools have no vision

    2. they are happy to take whatever comes their way when things line up

    3. they are more concerned keeping the other leagues down at their own expense from the top

    4. ACC / Pac12 will not existing in their current form in 10 years

When people wonder why Texas moved on, this is the Big12 playbook the past decade and we're in the endgame now

still think we will begin play there for the '23 season

agreed, seems like its too quiet.

Texas & OU are working with the SEC on scheduling and burning out some clock, while letting the Big12 do its thing and stabilize.

At some point over the next 6 months we announce we're leaving to play in SEC in 2023, lawyers across the country get into gear with various negotations.

Texas & OU try to leverage stability, payouts, etc to negotiate a lower exit fee or just threaten to tie this shit up in legal forever or you can have $20M

    Head coach in waiting

Honestly a fresh start after a few years of rest could prime GP for a big run at a school like Texas .

Have to imagine CDC has this as his worst of backup plans if Sark fails.

honestly a low key power move from CDC and I'm mildy impressed to have a competent forward thinking AD in place.

the very last part is pretty big news and will give all haters fuel that supports the Big Evil Texas narrative

it also begs the question - if we didn't sign, how could the rest of the rig express so much surprise and outrage 2 years later when we did leave?

going to epic if the lack of signature here becomes material

  7. Whats interesting about the contrast about whats happening at Texas and A&M is very striking to me.

Texas went quite, was behind on NIL, and boosters / surly got their shit together and figured out the legal way to do things and announced publicly what and how they were doing things.

A&M quietly nabbed the top class out of nowhere. Implication to me is they ramped up their bagman efforts, hoping to clean it up with some official NIL later but who knows wtf they did here. This grey area is where the risk area is IMO.

Big question though is whether or not the NCAA wants any involvement here again.

Bobby Burton mentioned today on their live YouTube Inside Texas National Signing Day show that he expects UT and blOU will be SEC in 2023...

for legal reasons all communications will continue to state 2025 until reality kicks in and we leave. I'm also optimistic the scheduling and buyout logistics will be settled by then .

we'll also have the new schools coming in and the big12 trying to figure its own schedules out.

no one wants to do that shit twice, lawyers are just playing chicken at this point.
