I lack seeing where I went cursing at you in asking questions of difference between how shoe scandals at Michigan & North Carolina were handled, but you are otherwise fine...

Lighten up, Francis. I didn't curse at you. I described your knowledge on the subject as fuck all. Your tone came across smug, so I responded in kind.

Well, then why was the same issue at North Carolina of students reselling shoes not also debunked, as those players are now suspended from the team...

And if it is ok for student athletes to resale merchandise issued from the school, why were coaches from Ohio State forced to be fired back during the tattoo scandal..?

Because they did it. All current Michigan players have all issued merchandise. The player who was kicked off last year and threatened to kill Harbaugh on social media (Mbem-Bosse I think) was supposedly the player that sold his shoes several months after being kicked off the team. That would be why. Way to grab a blurb about something you know fuck all about and get pissy when someone points that out to you. Your point was in no way relevant. We're all dumber for having listened to it. May God have mercy on your soul.

It most definitely would. The basis for Tex Pete’s stance is the fear of losing and spending a year hearing it from those dorks. I don’t live in a Texas and can’t remember the last time I interacted with an aggy, but the same disgust in losing is what makes the game so compelling/entertaining to me.

I’m always blown away at the amount of mindshare aggy occupies on this board...yet, “not a rival, couldn’t care less about them.” Yeahhhh

And this is 100% the basis for your opinion...which is apparently "fuck everyone else to entertain me."

Your confidence is absurd because you have no idea what Orlando wants to do. If Orlando wants to be a head coach - and all indications are that he does - we would have to offer significantly more than what he would expect to get as a head coach of a P5 program. Some middle-tier P5 program may offer him $2.5 million a year, which would be between Dave Cutcliff and DJ Durkin. That sounds about right. And that would be $800k more than Dave Aranda, the highest paid coordinator. So Texas would likely have to greatly exceed what he could make to retain him. That doesn’t sound likely. Under that not-unreasonable scenario it seems much lore likely he takes the head coaching gig. So for you to make ridiculous guarantees about Orlando’s long-term prospects for being the DC at Texas is confusing your own wishes for fact.

Understand your point, but Aranda makes $2.5 million thanks to aggy.

Had lunch yesterday at Freedmen's. Wanted to go before they shut down. Brisket, sausage, pork ribs, and smoked mushrooms. Everything was cooked well with great flavor.

In College Station this weekend for soccer and might give Kreuz a shot. I'm a fan of the Lockhart version.

    Snow's...or if you can't swing that Fargo's.

Understood. Well if he is talking about this year and asked what we are watching.. I'm assuming Sparty and Pedo spring games must have popped out to em.

Based on how both those athletic departments have been run, I'm sure lots of things have popped out at lots of people...

Since 2012 when the B12 in its current state was formed we are 10-9 vs the B10.

Iowa st is 2-4 vs Iowa

    B12 3-2 in bowl games

To say it's not even a debate is silly. Any argument either way is just bias.

Pretty sure he's talking specifically about this year. TCU has a shot to be really good, but Shawn Robinson will have to show some accuracy. WVU is a head scratcher for me. Everyone is high on them because of Grier, but I just don't see it. Michigan State should be pretty good, but Penn State has a lot to prove with Moorhead and Barkley gone. We'll find out if it was the personnel or the coaching that caused that shit show of an offense before Moorhead got there.

Wiskey and Ohio State sure, buttfucking Pedo State, Michigan State, AND Michigan over TCU and WVU?

Big 10 is full of cupcakes that make the top teams look strong.

Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, and Rutgers would all get blown out by an unranked Okie Lite or Iowa State. They have 9 teams that are worse than two mid-tier big 12 teams. K state and TT would probably beat all these crappy teams too.

It just sucks how the system is setup to have the pre-season ranking numbers have any meaning to the voters who decide the final rankings.

Eh, all of those teams save Michigan won 10 games last year, and the Wolverines picked up Shea Patterson. TCU is replacing its QB, and West Virginia is coming off a 7-6 season...also Northwestern won 10 last year (who knew?). Besides, the Big 10 did go 7-1 last bowl season. I know styles make fights in that situation, but the perception right now is that the league is good.

  9. Any chance Ohio State is the first team to drop in the ranking before anyone plays a game if Urban is fired? Ah, I guess there are a couple of insignificant games this weekend to keep that from happening.
