We have it in Austin too. But that’s a bit far to drive for some hooch! Ha!

Yeah, that's like 1700 miles away. But hey, I'm good for it. I'll pick it up later.

(Actually bought a bottle of that exact hooch and some Weller Special Reserve for my BIL in London for Christmas - I hate the prices over there but he's a great guy and loves bourbon, plus he keeps my sister on the other side of the pond.) 😂

  2. In.

And belatedly want to thank all you guys who add to my knowledge of the sport - I've been fairly casually following it for +/- 20 years (still kind of like to get up at the crack of hell West Coast time to watch the races live) - but I've learned a ton from reading you surly bastards and the info you've posted both here and at TOS.

Cheers to the lot of you - and hopes for normal racing in 2021 (although I'd really liked to have seen Portimão back on the calendar).

  3.  Both AD Cohen and Coach Lake at UW indicated that they hoped to prepare for a potential bowl game in their statements on not being able to go for the championship game - OTOH, it sounds as though their only shots at getting cleared in time would be for the Alamo or the Armed Forces bowls (or possibly some random game).

My guess is the frustration at missing out on the title game as well as both rivalry games plays into that, but we'll see what actually ends up happening.

Anyone have the details on this?

which team is in danger of not being able to play, Oregon?

There's nothing out there on either team not being able to play - CU sent the truck halfway in case USC can't go (if Oregon can't it would be Stanford or a no-contest or a plague of locusts or something). Since CU has no opponent and hence didn't go to LA they had to get the truck partway there just in case.

Sorry man.  This is just absolute bullshit.

Thanks man - it is what it is. Sucks when it's your arch rival benefiting though. Still will be watching the Big 12 championship and pulling for you guys!

Or Colorado in the Pac title game to face USC??

    Colorado lost last weekend.

The conference should declare USC the champion and have Oregon play Colorado, but that would make too much sense.

Instead they'll run the risk of a team that didn't win their division and lost their last two games to Oregon State and Cal claim a "conference championship" and a NY6 bowl bid.

i'm a bitter FC Dallas fan.  i hate that Seattle has IT.  they're getting to be like the New England Patriots of MLS.

    And that's fair.

But we also have the fucking Mariners and a bunch of Okies stole our NBA team, so we'll take what we can get.

I’m not going to get any sleep tonite. Lol. This is pretty much the most excited I have been about UT football in a decade.

This is fun from the outside too - I keep coming back to this thread for updates and Covid dating advice. 😉 Last year we just walked down the hall for our new coach. FlightTracker sucked for that.

Hoping UT lands Urban... this place will be even more fun....

P12 will sit and watch from home. Not sure why we are even bringing up Washington or USC scenarios.

I don't think anyone is actually bringing up Washington or USC scenarios as anything but a joke. Nobody out here sees this season as anything but a chance to get some work in and get back to it next year (except Oregon prior to Friday night, because ESPN slobbers their knob).

    Plus we forgot Colorado.

Tiebreaker is Medal of Honor recipients.

    Already mentioned:

If by "already" you meant a tweet that's 15 minutes later than my post, then sure.

If Bonagura's right, though, that should be an automatic 25 place drop in the rankings and permanent Window Cougar status for all eternity.

UW pushed their shit in the last two seasons, but the Huskies are very young this year and it would be a great opportunity for BYU to polish their resume. Hard to see why they wouldn't take it. They have a bye this week anyway so even if a Pac-12 team opens up (UW would be obligated to play a conference opponent), they wouldn't lose anything.

DRS zone should be shorter on that straight. Passing was inevitable.

Yeah, agreed. I'm not a huge DRS fan anyway, but definitely needed to be shortened there. I did like the fact you could race through the corners, though, and the elevation changes.
