Rewatch of the Alamo bowl on youtube is brutal. So many missed opportunities, but the defense just couldn’t get off the field.

Both teams are better this season.  We couldn’t stop the run last season, so hopefully that has changed but their strength is out weakness (secondary)

True coin flip. Hope the boys want it more.

We also were without 2 star running backs last year that prevented us from controlling the speed of the game in the second half. I'm hopeful we can mitigate Washington's offense this year by keeping their defense on the field.

Drove up on Sunday.  Third trip in a week... maybe a bit too much. Anyway, for now I put a waterproof vinyl tarp up. Much cheaper. 20231126_130723.thumb.jpg.31b87ebc8d25384a9a743da42cd26a50.jpg20231126_130946.thumb.jpg.d7ded8f35e712c7d6a19f4273bfc32f8.jpg

The entire time I watched any of the football theory with Ian and Rod it was comical. Ian would put his "theories" out and Rod would make some peculiar facial expressions or act like what he was hearing was good. Or Rod would ask Ian a question about a particular X and O type thing and Ian would be not very knowledgeable about it. It was quit obvious one just reads books and doesn't really know much vs a guy like Rod who was a technician as a player and knows X's and O's.

Yeah... I honestly hadn't heard much from Roddy B. before this season - just wasn't paying attention to his radio shows and such. He's gotten a lot better at pausing and letting others contribute (since his brain goes so fast), but I love his  knowledge of the game and you could fill a book with his one-liners and anecdotes. He's really grown on me over this season.

A lot of people here keep pointing to the same group of Texas players as the difference makers and the reason why Texas will win (Sweat, Ewers, Worthy, Murphy etc). Didn’t all those guys play in the Alamo Bowl that we beat you all in pretty comfortably? I get that players get better YOY but that works for both teams. And don’t tell me you all didn’t care about the Alamo Bowl. It was pretty clear from Sark’s demeanor before that game that he wanted to win BADLY.

Oregon was ranked higher than Texas each time UW played them this year and before the Pac 12 CG everyone convinced themselves Oregon would win despite the recent head to head evidence that UW was better.

I know this post will not convince anyone so whatever. Just had to say something.

You never HAVE to say anything...

    Thumb safety.

Am not really familiar with the newfangled decocker system.

I don't think the steel compact has a decocker (or it didn't when I bought mine). I think the alloy frame one has it.

They do make 9mm 1911. Sounds like blasphemy to the 1911 purists, but 9mm is a whole lot cheaper than .45.

I have a Rock Island model that I have bought, sold and bought again. And there are higher end 9mm models like the DW here.

Speaking of CZ Brat, you can get replacement grips to gussy up the gifts this summer. The green ones are aluminum but there are plenty out there.

is that a CZ shadow with the blue grips?

well guys, i think i'm officially ready to call it.

worst "invasion" by an opponent fanbase ever.

this is some of the worst attempted shit talking, bringing up things nobody else knows about or cares about, irrelevant, least knowledgeable bunch of fans i've seen ever even attempt something like this.

not sure what the goal was, but if it was to show that you guys collectively are so dense that light bends around you - congratulations. you did it.

I mean, the biggest pussies in the world come out of the pacific northwest.... this should not surprise anyone.

It's probably the only frame big enough to handle the length of the .22 hornet. Otherwise they'd have to engineer a new fram and change out tooling much more often.

my reading comprehension is garbage. I read .22 and immediately thought LR. Thanks for the clarification.

Just picked up another CZ75 Compact 9mm identical to the one I bought a few months ago.
Oldest son loved the first one when he saw it, so I figured I’d better get another so his brother wouldn’t feel slighted when birthdays roll around this summer.

They seem to be nice guns.
