  1. Man, going down memory lane was better than I thought. Good times reading all the posts during us pounding aggy into pillow biting submission.
  2. I would add Simmons and Arch, and then go Goosby, Wingo, and then take your pick.
  3. Damn, for real? Someone actually rated him the #1 OT? Wow.
  4. Name literally anything they don't slobber on
  5. I assume almost everyone, regardless of where you grew up, had a store in town run by either an Asian or Middle Eastern person who had no qualms selling us high schoolers beer, snuff, and cigarettes. We had a store down the road from our HS and that mf'er gave zero fucks. It was pretty awesome, other than we had to all chip in and buy either Busch or Bud Lite 24 packs for the weekend. Inevitably someone would find money somewhere and keep the party going. Good times were had.
  6. Not a damn thing. I just wish he would have bought the rest of us some of those Mickey's malt liquor grenades for lunch.
  7. He's not getting a first round grade after this season. He was solid, but not even close to first or second round material. I mean, I've seen weirder, I suppose, but I just can't see it. He struggled quite a bit, which is normal since it's his first season starting. But he was our best OL and graded out at 81.6 for the entire season. Next season if he can build on what he did this year, he's a for sure first or second rd pick. For reference, Banks graded out at 91.4 overall. Massive difference between the two. We, as fans, have unrealistic ideas, especially after Banks. He spoiled us. We do not have a Banks on the roster, unless you want to count Baker, who had an 80.2 pass blocking grade, but he struggled mightily against Arkansas, and was average to good against aggy, Georgia, but was elite against Vandy. He did extremely well overall considering he's a first year starter.
  8. Oh I agree, I was just saying he looked pretty good during our game, not that he is good. I went and looked up his stats and he's...below mid. Also, who in their right mind would ever think we couldn't hold any of their players to below their mean? We knew before the season they were penciled in as a W. Their team sucks. They have like 5 players I would want on our team.
  9. Christmas wasn't great for me, either.
  10. It would benefit them both to come back to school. Goosby needs another year of tape or he'll get the Cam Williams treatment. Wingo ain't leaving. That would be epically stupid, even if we do bitch about him he's still a very solid WR with a high ceiling. He's only gotten better each year. Maybe next year his drop rate...well, drops.
  11. Exactly. You have dudes over here acting like he's Christian McCaffrey or Saquon Barkley.
  12. I think he's a kid I went to school who also carried a butterfly knife and smoked with the teachers. He had been held back at least 2 times. To be honest, I think he even drove himself to middle school.
  13. Wide fucking open for the run in 2-pt. Nice
  14. Didn't look like a TD, but need to see replay Hard to tell with that replay
  15. He looked pretty solid against us. I believe he caught like 3 passes for 40 yards or something.
  16. Man I can't wait to see what Okpala, Cooper, Samari Matthews, Wesley, and Bishop can do. Same with Bell in 2027, but he'll have his bumps. This class is too low, but whatever. It's top-10, and I like the evaluations.
  17. Man, this new look on Surly is weirding me out. I can't get used to it.
  18. This is how I feel. The days of players staying and you know they're Longhorns for life are gone. Or at least rare, as is the case with Max Merrill. If a player stays for 3 years ill care about them, but if they're gone by year 2, I don't give a single fuck. Roster churning needs to happen. Even if we like the player (Wisner) they're simply not good enough for what we need to be a championship caliber team and be a constant in the CFP. Good luck to Wisner, but hello better RB1.
  19. Kibble we need to replace Campbell. He's a natural RG, and was recruited specifically to replace DJ unless Cojoe can play it, or Chatman come back and can take it. Grayson got his law degree from south Texas of Houston. Oof. No wonder he sucks as an "agent" If Wisner goes to aggy or ou, he's going to know what it's like to really get his ass beat. Traitors don't fare well This isn't even remotely surprising. He's a below average RB, but since he's at t Texas he's apparently Saquon Barkley. Tyler Johnson, weirdly enough, is actually playing at Colorado. He still does the music stuff, but damn man, he was a 2019 recruit. He's been to Texas, Houston, and now Colorado. Mf'er needs to graduate already. No way Wesco is coming here. Allegedly he's not a fan of Texas, unfortunately. He's on my wish list along with his teammates Antonio Williams and TJ Moore.
  20. Yeah, true. I do tend to forget they exaggerate measurements for whatever reason. Atkinson has been listed at 6'2 215 for at least a year, so we'll say he's probably 6'1 205, but Ty Smith is listed at 6'1 205, and college also exaggerates H/W, so he's probably more like 6' 200. Not too much smaller. But I expect both to put on more muscle this off-season, just like Simmons did his frosh year. It'll be interesting to see how both are used. They're both equal starters, imo. I won't bitch about either starting.
  21. I He was more than solid, he was fourth in tackles behind McDonald (1), Taaffe (2), Hill (3), and then Lefau. In 2024 he was fifth behind Hill (1), Taaffe (2), Mukuba (3), Barron (4), and then Lefau. He did all the right things. He and Hill were a great 1-2 LB tandem. Ty Smith was fifth behind Lefau in tackles this year. I don't know what Muschamp will do with Smith since he's a little small for what he likes his LB's to be, so I suspect Atkinson and Bo Barnes will be the starters because they're big, fast, and strong. Atkinson can also be used as a big nickel to come into the box, or even as an edge rusher at times. Muschamp loves big, physical LB'S and DE's. I don't think we will see much of Simmons dropping back into coverage, either. I also think he'll use Justus Terry off the edge. I don't see how he can gain the weight to be a 3 tech, but he can wreck shop off the edge.
