Anyone seen the Coleman duo play/hudl?  Thoughts?  Flood obviously loves them, would love to see us land a stud interior guy.  We seem to be doing outstanding with OT's.  Mills may be that guy, way underrated IMO.  I know rankings are always a crapshoot when it comes to OL (ie Foster and Fatheree).

Jordan is easily the better of the two brother prospects. He absolutely detonates dudes when he makes contact and is more mobile than his smaller brother who plays OT. I think Mills has more athleticism as a whole, but Coleman is bigger. Ideally you take both of those guys as your two IOL takes, but if you are going to force me to choose I might go with Coleman as a better scheme fit considering Mills won't really get a shot at OT with the guys we have in the pipeline.

Looks pretty fucking easy to me

Florida has dudes, even if they are a trainwreck. Think Texas under Strong. We might lose to Kansas, but we will get up and beat Notre Dame in the same season. Texas is a game they will be up for. Arky is arky, but we always get the suicide bomber version of that team when we play. Then Kentucky will be a tough out, and based on how the season has gone with injuries, could be a really tough grind of a game. Aggy is probably putting every bit of allowable, and probably some not allowable, offseason work into our game already and will have 8-10 weeks of prep time or some stupid shit.

It may not make a shit and we just outclass them all, but it just sets up for some really close late season games.

He told OTF he's here to make his mark for the draft and win a NC. We have dudes that are fast at receiver but we don't have anyone else as shifty to make people miss as he shows. He brings an element that will get him on the field

If everyone is as advertised, Wingo will need to be patient. Having said that, I think he gets a few more snaps than Cook got this past season.

Wingo is going to play, I would imagine his role increases as the year goes on.

Can't wait. Only drawback is that I am gonna have to buy a new console just to play this game. Oh well. :)

The digital version of the PS5 is good, that is what I got. The only drawback is that it takes a maddeningly long time to download a new game. Like.. start the download before you go to bed and it may or may not be done by the time you wake up kind of long. But once you get through that, the gameplay is the tits.

Yeah, I'll probably bite the bullet since I'm play the NCAA '25 and COD games, and maybe Resident Evil if I feel like going through it again. I'll definitely play Spider-man 2 since I haven't yet. Do you happen to know if the Arkham games are on it?

I think you can get all of the older ported versions from the PS store for $59 if I am not mistaken, but I dont think they have a new console version.

That's where I'm at. I don't want to buy a new console. I just can't justify spending another $400 on one that I barely use today. It's been a minute since I've played COD and Resident Evil, and I'm not old but I'm yelling at the clouds about this change.

Eh, I bit the bullet and did it in anticipation of this game. It really is worth it imo. Even the stock game it comes with (Spider Man 2) is badass. I got the digital only version since I will likely only buy NCAA and GTA VI next year.

Bo is a good recruiter when he has money to do the recruiting for him.

Actually he wasnt. He missed on a shocking number of dudes even with our NIL machine. There were definitely guys like Jackson last cycle that were just NIL driven morons, but if he was a good recruiter and the money is close, he should get a few more guys over the last couple of seasons.

What mystifies me about these kinds of takes is that Elko isn't some new addition at ATM. The guy was there for four years, hammering the buffet lines and happy hours. He made a dent in the College Station GDP with his presence alone. He had a chance to "resurrect the WC" the first time around. Why did he not do it then but he's going to do it now? Was Jimbo Fisher also quietly holding back the defense's true potential? That guy really is the Alpha and Omega for aggie failure of late, I guess.

They did have a much saltier defense with him as DC to be fair, but he is working with half the talent this time around.

Nah. People have pretty consistently complained about his recruiting, as evidenced by the fact that we've taken 2 portal DTs and DT is still considered a need position. No one's saying we're happy he left, but his recruiting was a weak point at Texas with top-level NIL. Now if he's at LSU with no NIL and a HC who's one of the worst recruiting HCs in the country, it could be a real problem for LSU moving forward.

Look, it’s not like they are paying this guy $4 mil per year. What more can you expect for just $2.5 mil?

Since some don't venture to Football board... Nice find by @Josef Pwag😋

Sounds like Bo doesnt get to walk into schools anymore and lead with the money that can be thrown their way like he did here. He didnt even get top tier guys doing that, so I imagine his recruiting chops are G5 level bad.

So this guy's conclusion is that they are going to be better on the line even though their DLine was teeing off on them all day? His version of good is that they held their own against DL starters a couple of times? I predict..

A couple of conclusions I can draw from looking at his hudl. He is a pretty instinctive LB who is good in pass coverage and rangy, but holy shit is California HS football terrible. It would be a decent pickup for them, but he needs to put on 30 lbs to be of any sort of impact.

You all sound like a bunch of poopy heads.

I know in the past, Rick has bemoaned needing to walk that fine line between running a free-wheeling board and his increasing interaction with the powers that be (NIL has just increased that need). Bobby long ago made the choice to go clean, likely because he is part of the machine and deals with guys like CDC all the time.

Imma wanted content creation. Bobby needed a web platform. Marriage made in G-Rated Heaven.

I don’t really post over there, or quite frankly, open many of the threads since many are 80 year olds typing with one finger, finally venturing out into this new internet thing with the cheerleader posts (“We love you Jerry!”). Worse yet, there are several LTx wannabes who think their every thought is thread worthy (sometimes creating multiple threads for the same subject). I think some see the board as an opportunity to act like a moderator/expert.

Top 30 WR 40 times by conference

    Big 12 - 3, SEC - 6, ACC - 6, Pac-12 - 8, G5 - 2, non-FBS - 2, Big 10 - 3

2 of the Big 12 were Texas of course but then again we won't get burned by Texas receivers other than spring games

    New alignments count

    SEC - 8, ACC - 6, Big 10 - 8, Big 12 - 3, G5 - 3, non-FBS - 2

Be glad we're not in the Big 10, apparently. And the SEC fluffery is so tired already. No, not everybody in the SEC has guys who can fly unless sub-4.7 is your definition of flying.

I am talking about the teams that matter. Last season Bama (Isaiah Bond), Georgia (Arian Smith), A&M (Evan Stewart), LSU (Brian Thomas Jr.), Ole Miss (Jordan Watkins), Kentucky (Barrion Brown), Auburn (Ja'varius Johnson), and Florida (Jerray Hawkins) all had guys who were upper level NFL fast. Fortunately, Bama's guy now plays for Texas, but now they have Ryan Williams. The point remains, he was going to get beat a bunch if they left him in man.

Lol at people here bemoaning the loss of Brooks. If he'd stayed, we'd have been bitching about him all season. Hell, the motherfucker got torched much of last season and was routinely bailed out by WRs not catching passes that hit their wide open hands.

I'm not going to sit here and exonerate Joseph or even Gideon. They're obvious weak links on the defensive staff. Joseph isn't going to develop shit, particularly at CB over Safety. Fine. Brooks has been on campus 3 years, and he's plateaued or regressed. I have little faith that he would have turned it around with another year of coaching from Joseph. I'll roll the dice that Mack or Black are the next Manny Muhammed, dogs that come in and are self-disciplined and will get better on their own with more reps. We know what Brooks is, at this point, under Joseph.

We just simply can't recruit corners who don't have top end speed anymore. We could get away with that somewhat in the B12, but in the SEC everyone has guys that can fly. It would have been a long and painful season for Brooks if I had to guess followed by discussion on moving him to safety. I also question why he is blowing coverages in year 3 as a multiyear starter. I was a little dubious about him going into next season prior to the spring game. We just need more athleticism in that spot.
