If Tyler Owens runs the fastest 40 at this year's combine, someone is going to lose their mind and draft him 3 rounds too high. That type of size/speed ratio is unheard of. He isn't a particularly good football player, but he is a freak athlete.

VY is the greatest Rose Bowl qb ever, have to factor that in
Next time 1-800 Flowers puts out a great QB list we are golden.

Mills Rivals ranking is a joke. They have him rated at 5.5, which is the lowest 3* rating they give out.
As a prospect, I like him better than some of the guys we have on campus now. He needs some technique work with his upper body, but he is a powerful kid with good feet and hips and agility for his size. If he played with better pad level, he would have absolutely stolen a kids soul a la Kelvin Banks in one of his hudl highlights.

Acho-esque is gold. Perhaps Manny Acho-esque in the shit head department.

The issue with Nebraska is that their floor is much lower than of those other programs. LSU, Georgia, and Florida should absolutely be ahead of Nebraska.
UCLA doesn't belong either. Especially with their terrible fan support.
Clemson doesn't belong with the schools they're grouped in. None of the others compete for natties. MSU, Arky, and Wisconsin just have big followings and are usually solid.
I get it in a recent history context, but historical charts tend to not allow being a prisoner of the moment. UCLA is going to continue to fall like a brick unless they decide to get serious about football again and start investing. Their position is probably the most precarious out of all of the schools in those top groups. If you take away the Dabo run (which is now decidedly over), Clemson has never been anything special.

Blue bloods (IMO):
Bama, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Florida, Florida State, LSU
Almost Blue bloods:
Penn State, Clemson, Tennessee, Auburn
Blue blood level following (not results):
Aggy, Nebraska
The chart above is pretty clear that there are only 8 true blue bloods. I would begrudge Nebraska being in there, but you can't really deny it historically speaking.
tOSU, Oklahoma, Bama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas, Nebraska
That second tier I would classify 9 teams there.
Penn State, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, UCLA, Florida State, Miami
Best of the Rest
Clemson, A&M, Washington, Michigan State, Arky, Wisconsin

This list is bullshit. There is zero point zero chance Parker Livingstone runs a 4.3. I think he is a mid 4.4 guy. No way Niblett is under a 4.3. No way Johntay or Dubose is clocking a 4.3 either. This guy is probably projecting a 40 based on a top speed or trying to convert a track time.

Hating someone doesn't mean you think they're a rival. I hate schools ISU has never even played.
If you asked 100 ISU fans if they hated Texas, 90 of them would say yes. If you asked a 100 ISU fans if Texas was a rival, 90 of them would say no. I can't imagine KSU is any different.
In trying to figure out how they got to 11 schools that think we are rivals, that is the only logical conclusion. Iowa State and K State absolutely revel in beating Texas. I am sure there are some people who would call that a rivalry. I don't consider it a rivalry, but that is mathematically the only way to get there.

I appreciate the effort, but there are some whiffs here.
-Texas isn't taking 5 HS WRs.
-Fasusi should be on the list.
-Assume 4 OLs this cycle.
-There could be 10+ OOS recruits in this cycle.
I assume the breakdown for Texas will go:
-25 signees
-1 QB - Lacey
-2 TB - Stewart, maybe Davison (his NIL wants at this point are allegedly absurd), but for sure someone
-3 WR - Lockett, Johnson, Ffrench/Moore/Harris
-2 TE - Winston, Armstrong
-2 OT - Fasusi, Newman
-2 IOL - Thomas, Mills/Langi
-3 DT - Brown, Sharma/Guidry, Williams
-2 DE - Woodfork/Morgan, Jackson
-3 LB - Williams, Pettijohn, Barnes
-2 CB - Brew, Sellers
-1 S - Delane
-2 ATH - Terry, Curry
I assume that is easily a top 5 class. Obviously a whole bunch of shit will change and half these guys won't matter by signing day, but that's my list in Feb 24.
I thought John Mills was an OT? He certainly has tackle feet as he is a pretty athletic dude at that size.

So the girl with the glasses on the right, I bet she’s sneaky hot and a demon in the sack. Like… with some diet, exercise, aesthetician, stylist, etc. I bet she’s smoke.
But I’m like the Billy Beane of ass talent. I can spot it where others miss.
That’s a hell of a narrative you have created for yourself for always banging fours.

Outstanding. No disrespect to McKinley or Reliford but I think this kid might be the best DL in Louisiana. He looks like he's got a Poona Ford type motor with a lot more size and the same kind of power to back it up. I'm certainly no scout and am wrong a LOT so I'm not going to be like 'wAtCh ThE tApE" or anything like that. I just think he looks like the real deal.
He is definitely good, my biggest question is how he will be used. He looks more Alfred Collins than Byron Murphy. Does he swing out to a 5 technique/SDE? Does he get big enough to be a 3? It should be interesting to watch.

I didn't realize that A&M purposely set the date for their Spring Game same day as ours. And are awaiting our LHN broadcast announcement on kickoff time so they can set theirs 2-3 hours prior.
I'm assuming so they can declare they were undefeated before we were heading into SEC season.
the Texas Exes and Belmont are coordinating a "Texas to the SEC" deal at 2359hrs on 30 June according to Chuck and Chris. I remember laughing at the A&M version of this years ago when the videos were posted online. Part of me thinks it's kinda cool but part of my thinks it's an Aggie kinda thing to do. What do y'all think ?
Are we making a video of all of the other school's yells to release on said date?
