Did you actually watch the video? If so, what all was that idiot saying?
Essentially he was saying that he is so impressed with what the staff is doing in getting guys to campus, and their feedback is just so "different" when they talk about their trip to the reporters. Liucci has crossed the event horizon and the wheel of time has begun anew.

Get your licks in now.
More proof that Liucci is just a total mark. Basing your opinions on what kids say when they are leaving campus after a visit is about the stupidest thing you could do. They are always going to say nice things to the local media, especially when those media guys are asking a bunch of leading questions like the aggy reporters do.

Listened to about 2 mins. Apparently we're not signing enough of the top-25 in-state players.
We didn't sign enough top 25 players in a down year in state, and instead signed a bunch of nationally ranked high 4 and 5 stars? Man.. whatever are we going to do?

Has Gerry actually said that or are you conflating that notion with me saying it on this board for the last year? Not being a dick, just wanting to be clear. I know what On3 is doing, but I would be pretty stunned if someone working at On3 was public about it.
No, he actually said it on the youtube show. He has actually done it a handful of times within about a three week period when things were still in the air with our last big group of high rated guys that we signed Like Filsaime and Black.

Glass houses. Our insiders don’t have exactly an impressive track record
Our insiders that actually work have track records that are just fine. The only thing Ketchum and Chip Brown are inside of is the refrigerator and the liquor cabinet.

When Gerry joins the OTF streams in, just spitballing here, let's say a little less than 2 weeks, one of the folks here that sits in on them should ask BB and GH what they think of the graders producing the On3 rankings, and if they think they're suppressing Texas targets/commits in some manner. I am willing to bet any amount of money that they dismiss the idea that the rankings are being suppressed in some form that works against Texas, but it should be funny to watch them on camera when they answer it. It's not in their best interest to rip on anything On3 related, but the troll in me thinks it would be funny.
Gerry has already come out and said this explicitly before Nahlin stuck his own foot in his ass by way of his throat. He said that the On3 guys (I assume he means Charles Power, et al.) have told him that they are going to ding Texas recruits due to lack of NFL development over the last decade.

Didn't listen to it, won't listen to it. But want it to be here so we can laugh and bump it throughout the cycle.
FFS. 3 top 5 classes in a row and a top portal class, yet we have a recruiting problem. What a fucking knob.
... and no... I didn't listen to it.

I have NEVER...EVER....EVER... wanted a recruit to attend a university more than this. I would pay nearly 4 figures to watch this kid sit in front of the Sul Ross statue with his father and get lectured on the history of Sul Ross

May be nothing, but worth monitoring: Michigan DL Grant has started to follow some Texas related social media accounts. Saw it here: https://ontexasfootball.com/forums/topic/208-s-c-coach-for-michigan-is-leaving/#comment-1967
Wake me up when he starts following the volleyball players and swimmers.

I expect this artificial suppression to last for all of about one more year until they realize that we are consistently sending guys to the league again.

The thing that I find most interesting is the balancing act between NIL funds and AD donations. It seems like CDC has navigated that a bit, although I think he is going to be asked to do more until there is a clear cut pay for play collective bargaining at the university's expense. A&M on the other hand, has piled almost a billion dollars into facilities projects and coaching hires, and yet somehow is completely inept on the true NIL side. If even a tenth of those donations went to NIL, they would be a force. It seems like many AD's are still holding onto the old guard in terms of having donations in their job description, but looking the other way on NIL.

I don't listen to the podcasts or streams very often, but I do know that in every other vein in which Wright was being mentioned, both Burton and Hamilton were hedging with caveats around the deal not being done.
Ketchum? He's too stupid to be cautious and too out of the loop to know whether something is or isn't real. Accordingly, he's just always going to be reviewing other peoples' points of view and deciding which ones sound the most likely to occur. Then he just attaches his worthless name to it and lets it fly into the social media ether. At that point, he relaxes, smiles in a self-satisfied manner to himself that the day's work is done, rings the bell and his intern brings him another bucket of Fuddrucker's cheese sauce and a radio flyer red wagon full of fries and wedges.
Can I get the number of his wagon guy?

people LOVE making terrible comparisons
Choate was a head coach longer than Baker coached at the G5 level.
Choate had a ton of experience with very good coaches at Boise and Washington.
Baker is nowhere near comparable to a guy who had like 20 years of coaching experience (Choate) or who was seen as a rising star and had skins on the wall (Choice)
but Choate to Baker specifically is a lazy comparison that is truly fucking terrible. you think a guy with 3 seasons of experience at the G5 level is the same as Jeff Choate who had 20 years experience, including like 5 as a head coach? lol
Sarkisian obviously has a blueprint of guys that he wants to hire. They have to meet certain criteria and he seems to be pretty unwavering in making sure that they do. If a coach meets the criteria at 35 or 50, it doesn't really matter. If you want to just hire a bunch of coaches with very long resumes to come here as position coaches, then perhaps I can load you up with this group of fine specimens. Jeff Fischer, Bill O'Brien, Gary Kubiak, Dan Mullens, Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennel, Matt Patricia, Eric Mangini. I am sure that all of them could be had on the cheap.

One thing I did find interesting in this interview is the fact that 3 different defensive coordinators kept him on staff. I guess that's something? That's all I got.

They were kingmakers until TOR had to screw it up and become a tyrant. Tor is like the HOA president who wouldn't approve landscaping projects unless he got bribes.
Then you would have the fatwa, where the heavy hitters kept propping the guy up just for fun. That was great.

Why do you do this shit? Why do you ask questions that you already know the answer to? Questions that have been discussed over and over on multiple threads, but especially this thread. Why do you ask if Dabo and Clemson are feeling heat from the media while linking a tweet that basically criticizes Dabo and Clemson for not being more active in the portal? Why don't you just stay on Orangebloods? God you're fucking weird.
Let's go easy on Ketch. In fairness, this page is days and weeks ahead of OB on pretty much everything.

These were the revised terms he was offered today. Previously they had not been included.
- Contract would make Harbaugh the highest paid coach in college football.
- Elevator clauses to ensure Harbaugh remains the highest paid coach in college football
- immunity from termination for two current NCAA investigations (this is similar to the provision in Bill self’s contract excerpted below)
It boggles my mind that there are numerous ongoing investigations into the Michigan progam and Michigan AD and president are like.. LOL DONT CARE.
