  1. Yeah, the schedule and the TV blows. I got ESPN+ just for this Bball run this year but many fans don't have it. Sucks they can't show the B12 WBB tourney to most of the fans who want to watch. Wankers.
  2. They barely beat West Virginia and shot under 20 % in the second half. We beat their drum 73 to 48 in our last contest, in fact they scored 48 points in both games against us this year, we are not a good matchup for them. We are in their heads like Baylor is in ours. Keep playing Vic defense, continue to shoot free throws well and I like our chances.
  3. Great win ladies, happy to be going to the next round. Ebo with the big game. Matharu's threes were crucial.
  4. Giving them opportunities with no time elapsing, not smart. Warren with 5 and out, shite

The tournament's two first round games (No. 8 Texas Tech vs No. 9 Oklahoma; No. 7 West Virginia vs No. 10 TCU) are set to take place Thursday evening. Should the Longhorns win their clash with the Wildcats on Friday, they would advance to Saturday's semifinal where they would meet the winner of No. 2 Iowa State and either TCU or WVU. SETTING THE STAGE: The red-hot Longhorns enter Friday's tilt riding an eight-game win streak dating back to a Feb.9 road victory over Texas Tech which is the second-longest active streak in the Big 12 behind Baylor (10 games). Relentless full court defensive pressure, attention to detail, and limiting turnovers and mistakes have been built in to the identity of his programs. UT currently ranks No. 1 in the Big 12 and No. 28 in the NCAA holding opponents to just 55.8 points per game. On Monday, Lee was named unanimously to the All-Big 12 First Team by league coaches as well as the All-Defensive Team. Freshman guards Serena Sundell and Brylee Glenn were named to the All-Freshman team. Dates, times, pairings and broadcast information is set to be released during the women's selection on Sunday evening (7 p.m. CT, ESPN).
  6. Love / hate this. I saw her interviewed on Vic's show and that's a 5 star human there. Good point guard career at OU, Master's degree, WNBA, good AC / AHC career at various stops. Has done great work with Rori and her admirable support of young ladies of color shows some real depth. You can tell the team loves her. I wish she would stay but that lady is destined for bigger things. Big fan where ever she is.
  7. That's Excellent, really happy for all of them. So glad Harmon got FOY, she earned it, ran the team the whole year. Kept Vic in check too. Didn't know it had been so long since we took an award. Thanks ladies. Sweet.
  8. I think Harmon will get FOY but it's much closer than I'd hoped between her and Sundell. Rori played 29 games to Serena's 30 with Rori averaging 28.6 minutes per game and Serena at 32.3 Serena better at the line and far more of a 3 point threat, 23 blocks to 1 for Rori, also quite a few more assists. Rori surprisingly with quite a few more boards at a much shorter height, less turnovers with more steals. IDK who will get FOW for last week but Rori still with one more than Serena. Like @Js1 says the other K state girls may split the vote in our favor. Seems like Harmon is getting more national love but that may be due to the other good freshman at KState and my biased view from Austin. God I hope she gets it. No clue about Matharu, don't really know who else is in the running, Aliyah started a bunch of games don't know if that will have an effect.

  10. Thanks @LTtxfan Sounds like that's it for JAT. Highly appreciative, she carried us on many a night.
  11. Gutty win from a tough team. 7 in a row, couldn't shoot to start and the refs were brutal but a great road win against a tough team.
