  1. Looks like we're going hard after California prospects. I like it.
  2. Made a few changes to make the Sumlin photo a little more accurate.
  3. This may not be the site for you. Arguments like these usually go over much better at a place like Horns247.
  4. If he visits, it will likely be a surprise. Any visit to UT that a 9.95er publicizes in advance will get squashed by Jimbo unless he decommits. Edit: What Machinator said.
  5. I’m going off the film I’ve watched of him. He’s no healrthy Connor Williams but he is a good LT. Your numbers have a ton of flaws, including not counting underclassmen who may be better than him, or the fact that the NFL draft is based more on potentiona than production. If you expect him to be 2016 Connor Williams, you’ll likely be disappointed but he will be a good LT for us next year.
  6. He's not going to be at the level of Connor Williams his freshman or sophomore year but he will be an above average college LT. Idk if that counts as kool-aid or not but that's what's pretty reasonable to expect considering there's a 36-game sample size on this recruit.
  7. I disagree. Big time recruits get that kind of treatment for almost two years most of the time. A lot of them are tired of it by the time NSD1 comes around. Plus, programs put pressure on those guys to sign NSD1. I'd say late risers/marginal P5 guys are the ones who are likely to see guys like Ojomo from last year and hold out for NSD2 in hopes of getting more big time offers and attention.
  8. You've been working on your stamina, haven't you?
  9. If you were close enough to a ref for him to tell you that, then you should've punched him in the face for all of the bad reffing we've had to endure.
  10. Here's a nice little summation of Higdon's #LetsRide debacle. https://www.barkingcarnival.com/2016/5/10/11648896/jason-higdon-a-lesson-in-the-free-market
  11. Good. We need to get back to having our pro day being a must-attend event for all 32 teams every year. Charlie failed in a lot of ways, but he did bring NFL talent back to the 40 and it looks like Herman is going to continue that trend.
  12. Either way, he'll be playing Baylor in a couple years.
  13. lulz. yeah, Rocket League makes me feel shittier than just about any video game I've ever played. Especially when you see a replay of the goal you let get by you and it looks like it should've been so easy to stop, yet it's so addicting. By the way, any of yall play Rocket League on Xbox? Wouldn't playing some matches with folks of the surly.
  14. 1. Getting Floyd back on campus this fast is huge. I tempered my enthusiasm about him until we got him back on campus, but I think we have to to feel pretty good about this recruitment right now, which is huge since we'll need LBs so badly in 2019. 2. Am I to believe that Higgins looked that good running routes at 230-235 lbs? If so, that's insane and he's way underrated. Whether considered a TE or WR, he's gonna be a matchup nightmare with that combination of size, speed and fluid route running. Let's get his recruitment wrapped up ASAP. 3. Almost all the CBs in those videos were fairly underwhelming. I'm glad we have a lot of offers to OOS CBs this year.
  15. Just like the basketball team...and the football team most years. They schedule the easiest OOC possible, get overhyped and then utterly fall apart when it matters.
  16. SIAP, here's the Rivals Houston WRs v. DBs:
  17. Wiley had much better burst than I expected and looked very fluid. Here's the Wrs v. DBs. Potential Texas targets include: Demariyon Houston, Lewis Cine, Jonathan McGill. Bobby Wolfe got burned constantly in this video. Not a big fan of his compared to UT's actual DB targets. Trejan Bridges (ousux commit) runs very good routes already. He's going to be a good one, but we're after plenty of good ones as well. The state is just so stacked at WR every year.
