  1. I think the Broncos would look great if they wore their color rush uniforms full-time, except swap in white pants for the orange. Basically the old uniforms you're talking about but with navy replacing royal blue. Good way to tie the cleaner, timeless design of the past with the colors of the era they won their Super Bowls.
  2. You're not wrong, but given that they basically wear that look now with just a couple of modifications, I don't know that it's relevant to include them in throwback conversations.
  3. Neither Peyton nor Eli left early (and Eli even redshirted, so he was at Ole Miss 5 years). I know some things have changed in the last 20 years, but it’s not like both of those guys weren’t already consensus top picks had the come out early. I wouldn’t just assume he’s 3 years and done.
  4. Has Brockermyer even played a snap since week 1? I know you’re joking, but I don’t think he’s missing any tackles on the bench.
  5. Everyone who is capable of doing this does it. As they should.
  6. Eh. It wasn’t great, but points on 6/9 possessions and no turnovers. The secondary was a much greater frustration.
  7. I’d disagree with the assessment on the Gurriel deal. They gave him a 1 yr deal last year for $7 mil and he massively outperformed that. Picking up his $8 mil option then was a no-brainer. It hasn’t paid off this season, obviously, but I don’t think it’s accurate to say he was signed for too many years when it was a 1 year deal with an option.
  8. Today, sure. In 2026? It’s not impossible, but it’s unlikely.
  9. I’d prefer he just keep picking his spots and spending his money wisely.
  10. It helps if you actually read what I wrote and was responding to before typing a lot of inane, irrelevant drivel. I’m not arguing anything at all about Card vs. Ewers, simply that we’re not incapable of beating any other FBS team with Card at QB, which is literally what was stated.
  11. It’s not like there was a big lead that got whittled away. Giving Ewers credit for the score on the drive he was injured, it was tied when Card entered. So he is capable of staying within a point of #1 on one leg-and leading a drive that put us ahead with just over a minute to go-but can’t beat the likes of UTSA and Tech? 🤨
  12. In my dreams, Osborne decides to try pull a Bill Snyder.
  13. Not as much as your game plan.
  14. Yeah, I was totally serious about accusing you of being a racist with that gif. Well done. I should have expected no less from the same dizzying intellect who thinks posting a scouting report that questions his ability to get outside the pocket, extend plays, and run for plus yards somehow supports his point.
  15. I don’t think Murphy is thought of as much of a dual threat.
  16. We went to field turf before the 09 season.
  17. Call me crazy, but I assumed the guys agreeing “Malik Murphy should starts” thought he’d be a better option.
  18. Arguing that Card isnt solely responsible for the loss and that throwing the 4th string QB who has never taken a snap in as the starter might not be a great idea=a Card stan?
  19. No, not really. He complete 64% of his passes at a greater yds/attempt and per completion than Young with no turnovers, most of that on one leg. Of course Ewers would have done more. Of course you’d like more points. And maybe he’d have gotten them without the injury. But regardless, there were lots of reasons for the loss: No running game Uncalled penalties Bad snap on fg Missed tackle by Watts This isn’t like Simms throwing 4 ints in the Big 12 title game. Calling him the “main reason we lost” is just bizarre. I guess I can’t really explain it, to answer the earlier question, because it’s like we didn’t even watch the same game.
  20. He clearly looked completely healthy and pain free on that run. Excellent observation.
  21. It’s not about the criticism. It’s that’s the criticism is asinine.
  22. It’s not about being “back.” Whatever that means. It’s limited entirely to not being able to win with Card, which is literally what was said (despite him backing away from it a bit now). Obviously it lowers the team’s ceiling, but unless he’s out for the season, I don’t see why we’re doomed looking at the next few weeks.
  23. I think Nick Saban knew that, and he still almost lost. And that UTSA isn’t Alabama. And you think we’re gonna roll our Murphy or I guess Wright and *not* rely on the running game and simplifying the game plan? Uh, sure.
  24. I don’t get this negativity. We almost beat #1 with Card on one leg, and now we suddenly can’t handle UTSA?
  25. And obviously the guy who hasn’t even won the #3 QB job or taken a snap gives us the best chance to win.
