One of my best friends growing up scored 4 touchdowns in one game against Pearland our senior year. It really was, sadly, the high point of his life. He's in prison last time I checked. Probably telling everybody about that game, though.

Im Just glad that the WiFi in Huntsville is good enough that @SydneyCarton can continue to post

So I guess the next logical question would be if Texas’ situation isn’t tenable currently, how many other schools have tenable setups? Or are we about to see sort of a market correction when it comes to NIL?

Market correction is already happening. The Arch cycle was truly stupid and set ridiculous expectations for the next one. Now we are seeing that temper

Going to chip in more today.  What really helps is getting your friends to do the same.  We have to grow our base wide or we will get lapped.  The big dogs can't or won't do it for us forever.

I was watching the Baylor game with several friends.  All professional types and alums.  Told them if they want Texas to succeed, it is important for regular fans and alums with disposable income to make monthly donations to Texas One Fund and to dedicate it to football.  Let the billionaire and hundred millionaire types donate buildings and facilities.  Guys like these -- $200k to $1m a year in earnings, can donate $100 a month without noticing it.

Yep exactly, we are asking for $22 a month. Even for someone making 75k that should be doable

I think anyone capable of answering that would be insane to answer that. I'm also betting there is no sweeping for bugs inside any of these programs, Texas or otherwise. Maybe I'm being naive, but it seems farfetched.

Now I cant stop thinking Venables is breaking into Sarks office like this

Man someone threw this idea about tying it to a credit/debit card and now we’re seeing it at other places. I do like that QR view with PA announcing to donate in the stadium in the video board.

    @RGBIIIDO SOMETHING lol

That credit card thing and roundup was my idea originally...like most of this other shit other schools are doing

Weigman's parents sound exhausting lol. Which is good for our entertainment value I guess

For those unaware, HIPAA only applies to healthcare providers. The doctor and staff that saw Conner can't share his information unless it's for medically important reasons. Other providers in the clinic can't access his records. All that stuff is recorded by EHR systems and easily checkable

The leak came from someone the Weigmans themselves told. Or a member of the team/staff. That stuff happens. Was the end game to use a high ankle sprain as an excuse through the end of the year? Sounds weird but I guess we're talking about a fanbase that believes the flu knocked out half the team for two weeks

ETA: If you're going to be helicopter parents and don't want your kid to get injured, don't let him play football and especially don't let him play for Fisher/Addazzio (and I think Dameyune Craig would have been the QB coach at the time lol). If you're going to let your kid be an adult and make his own decisions, then don't go chewing out coaches and talking about suing message boards when adversity strikes

247 is not a covered entity under HIPAA, so they aren't subject to HIPAA

I will let you look Mike Roach and Chip Brown in their eye sockets and tell them they are not medical doctors

    No sir.

You must have missed the aggie post the other day where the author had been sitting next to the Weigman's when the injury occurred, and the parents, unsolicited, told the author: "We know Jimbo will take care of hm. We love it here."

Chip Brown was there placing ML bets on SMU while Mike Roach was sucking the marrow out of chicken wings

Misspelling of HIPAA and complete incorrect understanding and discussion of how it’s applied not going away.

Never will. Thinking about suing you for HIPAA just in case
