  1. It’s more of a ball tracking issue if anything, along with not being on the same page as Ewers. These are points I can agree with. I have to assume those thinking its an effort issue have no idea what they are seeing. Imagine giving up on a route and going at 75% speed but still having 2-3 yards on your nearest defender lmao.

The guy gives too much effort in areas a lot of receivers prefer to half-ass for it to be a physical effort issue, imo.

It’s unlikely to be an either/or proposition as between Worthy and Ewers. That said, if they’re not on the same page, they need to get the hell on the same page. There have been enough plays by now for them to do the “what did you see here, I saw…” thing and get on the same page. A fully armed and operational Ewers-to-Worthy connection would go a long way toward closing out this season in a satisfying fashion.
  2. Where does Nickleback fit on this scale of suck? Somewhere between Third Eye Blind and Hootie and the blowfish?

People keep saying that, but “San Quentin” has gotten a lot of run on the Big Uns countdown on SiriusXM Octane.

  3. Ive watched or listened to every home game since '88.  Ive been to the Shoe to see an epic win and ive been to Pasadena for an epic  loss to Bama.
I was at the Hodges Mitchell up the gut 75 yarder on the first play of the game vs the Pokes; been to the Dome to see us crush Tulane and the same Dome to see Drunkenmiller go wild in the 2nd half for the Hokies.  Went to DKR last fall for OSU for the first time in 20 years and prior to that the last home game I saw live was the Cole Pittman game.  Been to Stanford and witnessed that shitshow too...like a lot of you my live game experience runs the gamut.
Heading to DKR Sat night and i cant wait.  I havent been this excited to be at a home game probably since the Cougars came to DKR in '90 or when I saw the epic Westbrook hit vs the Domers in one hell of a game (despite the loss).
Go Texas , beat the roaches!

  4.  Because there aren't any similar posts on every other college football message board.

It’s normal for there to be more excitement when a highly ranked team comes to town than when, say, UTEP does.

It’s not normal to confuse that with a game’s being the Super Bowl for Texas, Alabama, or whatever blue blood that has attendance at any given game that’s twice your stadium’s capacity.

If Texas has a Super Bowl in the regular season, it’s in Dallas. There’s an argument that could be made for Bama, LSU, or ND-type games. TCU is an important game with some external hype.
