  1. https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-top-10-returning-edge-defenders-for-the-2025-season 1. Colin Simmons, Texas Simmons entered college with a ton of hype as a top-15 overall recruit and has somehow already exceeded expectations. The Texas native was the sixth-most-valuable edge defender in the nation according to PFF’s wins above-average metric. He trailed only Abdul Carter, Jack Sawyer, Mike Green, Josaiah Stewart and JT Tuimoloau in that metric. Simmons ended up winning the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award, which is given to the best true freshman in America. His 18.6% pressure rate was a top-15 mark in the nation, and he was no slouch as a run-defender either, posting a 73.4 run-defense grade. Simmons’ elite combination of bend and advanced pass-rushing moves is reminiscent of Von Miller.
  2. They must think Jett Bush is still on the roster.
  3. How many point did the aggie offense (with this line) score against Texas?
  4. I did Elon Musk this flip coming.
  5. When is the last time that current members of the Big 12 won conseuctive national titles in Football?
  6. It feels like a lifetime since I went there. Just incredible for in-your-face live music. The bands I saw there were in the genre of EW&F, The Time and The Dazz Band. Always a blast.
  7. I agree. It is time for Sankey to force them into a game of chicken and not to blink. Tell them it is 4 autobids for SEC & B1G, 2 for ACC and Big 12, or else the SEC champ plays the B1G champ for the national title. Which do you prefer?
  8. If you get rid of the fatties, the bald guys and the drunks, surly would be 2 or 3 dudes discussing soccer.
  9. Only certain schools could pay players back then. Now, everyone can pay players. Would you rather have money in Austin or Norman?
  10. To me, this is the story. Why isn't she also suing the Provo police department?
  11. This isn't just academics. Duke isn't Stanford when it comes to academics, but it is close. Stanford wins a lot of titles in sports that no one cares about. Duke has (I think) 5 men's basketball titles.
  12. For the amalgam of academic & athletic prestige, Duke is not only a peer, they may be a notch above Stanford. In the US News rankings (I know, I know....) Stanford is 4 & Duke is 6. We've all seen Duke win a national title in basketball, while Stanford wins in non-revenue sports.
