  1. This isn't about attitude or swagger or heart or desire or lockerroom speeches from former players. It is about talent. We need interior offensive linemen who don't fucking suck.
  2. We doubled Ohio State's rushing yards and still found a way to lose that game. Sark's red zone pay calling can pull defeat from the jaws of victory under pretty much any circumstance.
  3. I've talked myself into Texas both winning and losing this game by 2 scores. OU hasn't been tested at all yet. Just 1 road game, and that was against Temple. They haven't faced a real gut check. But Arch still doesn't have it all together, our RBs are average at best, our WRs don't have elite speed and our o-line is an abortion. If Mateer plays this entire game, we likely lose and lose bad. He is basically their entire running game. We can't let him survive until the 4th qtr.
  4. For the people who still think Texas will win, do I have a business opportuntiy for you......
  5. UF has a RB that is much better than anyone on the OU roster. They have 2 o-linemen better than anyone on the OU roster. I would take the freshman UF WR that has only played one game over anyone on the OU roster. Other than that, OU is equal to, or superior to, UF.
  6. Oh my God. Let me guess, you think the solution to all of our problems is for a half in the bag Kasey Studdard to yell at the team in the locker room about letting their nuts hang, right?
  7. Baxter & Wisner both likely out. Any of you guys who played RB in high school have any college eligibility left?
  8. Texas is going to lose this game and it likely won't be close. Will the eyes of many on this board finally be opened? I don't know.
  9. For the UF game, the o-line was the worst problem. Still, Arch was a massive problem. They aren't mutually exclusive. He isn't well. Under no circumstances should he be starting against OU....but he will.
  10. He wasn't the biggest issue in the UF game. He is still a massive issue. The end of the game shows the depth of his mental collapse. Multiple times, when we were in a hail-mary situation, he had plenty of time to heave a jump ball to the endzone. He couldn't psychologically pull the trigger. He didn't show balls or courage or anything like that. He showed he is a broken young man. It is really cruel that we will put an obviously unwell person in the mix against OU.
  11. I think you, and people like you who think this way, are disassociated from reality. I truly do. No one thinks Caldwell is Joe Montana. ANY QB (especially one with some experience) who is not in the middle of a complete psychological collapse is superior to Arch. You have not yet come to terms wth how grave our situation is right now.
  12. This is concern #1. With the deepest pockets in CFB, why did we think we could compete for a national title by trotting out an o-line with 4 substandard recruits as starters? Concern #2 is is not doing the deep dive on the psychological collapse of Arch. It is why aren't we starting the best possible QB against OU?
  13. I expected that, in an era where you can go buy the best players from other teams, and we have the resources to be one of the top tier spenders, we would go out and get competent o-linemen. We didn't. We managed to spend a great deal of money on a WR corps with no one that can create explosive plays, RBs that are average or hurt (or both) and a mentally fragile QB. The icing on the cake is deciding to ride with the type of o-line that Houston or Southern Miss could recruit. I think losing to OU's backup QB will wake up most of you.
  14. This is true in theory, but Sark & Flood could have done that last offseason. They felt our $ was better spent elsewhere. If they have an irraitonal belief in our o-line guys who straight up suck, we are really in trouble.
  15. My company has a big office in South Florida. We have a lot of Miami Hurricane alums that are passionate football fans. They have endured 2 decades of disappointment. This is the type of nonsense they have been saying for many years. "We don't have any dogs" "This (former player) or (another former player) needs to come to Coral Gables and talk about the old days" "We don't have the right vibe, we need more swagger" Miami was bad all those years for the same reason our crap o-line will lead us to a disappointing season.....it's all about talent.
  16. This is the problem. No o-line coach can make chicken salad out of these chicken s*** players. Here is the ugly truth, the people who make our personnel decisions, and who decide how we will allocate our $, are fucking stupid. Of course it is a problem we don't have a playmaker at WR. Of course it is a problem that our RBs are average (at best) and our QB is mentally weak. The biggest problem is that we decided to run a Ferrari on bald tires. We came into this season with low 4* (likely overrated, and we know why) mixed in wth some 3* talent on the offensive line. These guys are talentless pussies. Tech is spending more wisely in the trenches than us, which is why they would humilate us on the field.
  17. Belichek is an average (at best) coach who fell assbackwards into glory because of Mo Lewis.
