  1. Anybody follow Puli on Twitter? Could you do us a fave and politely request that he yields USMNT free kick duty to someone else?

I love watching Mexico not being able to hold any possession against us.

Commented on this before, but starting back in 2021, whenever the US fields its "A side" against El Tri, Mexico trades out its possession-oriented strategy and prefers to let the US see more of the ball in hopes of catching the Yanks on a counter--the very playstyle the USMNT has historically employed against the Mexicans that they've often criticized us for.

    Love seeing the improvement.

Add that to the list of legendary goals In this rivalry

Definitely up there with Feilhaber's one-timer against El Tri in ... 2008?

... and all of the firstrowsports streams seem to not be working.  Anyone have something?

I took advantage of a free Paramount+ trial ... 7 days, but if you don't cancel before then, you'll have to pay a sub fee.

So just cancel after today's stream.

  6. So how's this gonna play out?

It's Mexico and Puli is involved, so I expect at least one goal and shirt removal from him.

  7. Avoiding all the negativity going on right now with the program, its coaches and its players, wanted to take a moment to sing more praise for this kid.

At season's start, he was all energy and athleticism but also often out of control. The more PT he got, however, the more improvement he demonstrated. It's no understatement to say Chendall was the Longhorns' most impactful player during the postseason.

Still needs to work on his shot and handle, but I'm confident he will given his in-season growth. Looking forward to it and also looking forward to him making millions in the NBA.

    Keep working!

  8. Quick thought on Zakai Ziegler:

We Texas fans are always wishing for taller guards, but Ziegler showed that a sub-6-foot guard can be hugely impactful even when he's having a poor shooting night. He dropped some beautiful dimes and his perimeter defense was on par with Dogus Balbay and Fredie Williams. Dude had some lightning quick hands.
