In this portal/one-and-done era, what a fucking windfall it is to have a player like Zach Edey--huge and dominant enough to be great at the college level but not good enough to project well to the NBA.
Players like him are going to be worth their weight in NIL gold going forward.

We saw it with DEET, and how the birds eating the bugs that it killed ended up having eggs with soft shells and sickly offspring.
Did you mean to say DDT, the pesticide that was banned in 1972?
DEET is the active chemical in most bug repellants, like OFF!

Quick thought on Zakai Ziegler:
We Texas fans are always wishing for taller guards, but Ziegler showed that a sub-6-foot guard can be hugely impactful even when he's having a poor shooting night. He dropped some beautiful dimes and his perimeter defense was on par with Dogus Balbay and Fredie Williams. Dude had some lightning quick hands.

You guys did a very good job of defending the 3 and forced us into some tough spots.

Welp, if Texas is gonna lose, would rather it be to Rick than anyone else. Stings less.
Well done, Mr. Barnes.

Damn nice effort from Texas. Love Cunningham's commitment to the bit.
Yeah, he used to be a thorn-in-your-side pest, the sort of player who would irritate you all game and force YOU into committing the stupid foul.
Not so much this season.

Y'all get your minds right and get on board for the big win.
Or else you'll be standing tall before the man.

Haha Disu so clever.
That's how you get out of a guy grabbing you, Brock.

So, two North Carolina teams are going to S16.
Before I moved to TX nearly 20 years ago, I considered North Carolina.
Partly because of the mountains and twisty roads. And fireflies. Fireflies are an underrated nice thing to have.
I stuck with TX because fam goes back multiple generations here, and I don't regret it.But I need to get rich and buy a vacation house in North Carolina.
There are fireflies in the Panhandle. Find a body of water (there aren't many up there!) on the right summer's evening ...

I call this pussy out on his shit and he gets another mod to give me a warning. What a fucking laugh.
You're the biggest loser on this site. You're an absolute joke.
Imagine if every time someone said something I didn't like here I could just ask my buddy to threaten to ban them.
Yeah hold it down bruh. Hold it down.

Both teams shooting abysmally. Difference are the offensive rebounds for Tennessee and the many, many turnovers for Texas.

Glad our players aren't rattled as easily as our fans. 😉
Chief concern is Abmas. We need him to catch fire and start hitting everything, a la 2020-21 at Oral Roberts.

I just played hungover and drunk in a 3 on 3 at the park by where I live and we won 15-13.
I would annihilate Helo.
Sir, I suggest you watch this video ... and learn from the best.

That No.99 was really pushing his luck.
Probably prone to fouling out and thus the impetus for the "5 or less" rule.
Habitual line stepper.

If he wins tonight, I would probably put this thread on ice for a while.
I'm one of those horrible middle-ground types who believes Terry has already bought himself more time. Not an extension, mind you, but I don't think his seat is hot nor should it be.
Doesn't mean I think he's the best man for the job--I don't--it just means the motivation for all this arguing and bitching escapes me.

Avoiding all the negativity going on right now with the program, its coaches and its players, wanted to take a moment to sing more praise for this kid.
At season's start, he was all energy and athleticism but also often out of control. The more PT he got, however, the more improvement he demonstrated. It's no understatement to say Chendall was the Longhorns' most impactful player during the postseason.
Still needs to work on his shot and handle, but I'm confident he will given his in-season growth. Looking forward to it and also looking forward to him making millions in the NBA.
Keep working!
