agreed. I think QE is "late" on throws a fair bit and this is causing some of these strips. I think he is late on deep balls also. he has the arm but he seems to want to put too much air under them and have the receiver catch the ball in the end zone/way down field vs. hitting him sooner with a lower trajectory. but I admit it is hard to know because we don't know the nuances of what Sark is looking for on a play.
It is nitpicking. assuming he wins the games the backups won over the last 3 years he is 30-8. won a big 12 championship, made the playoffs now 2 years in a row. He's doing something right. He has had a 2-3 bad halves this year but other than that has been basically money.
Sark get paid the big money to make sure Manning is ready when needed and to make the call.
He is not Jaxon Dart, thank god.

New Coaches Poll: https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/ncaaf/coaches-poll/2024-2025/2024-11-24
Alabama fell just six spots... A&M fell just five.
Miami fell 8 when they lost. Bama treatment coming

SIAP, but do we have a football game tomorrow, possibly against a team from the state of Kentucky?
This lack of attention on KU is offending the football gods. Don’t know what price will be paid.

His first term, I was glued to MSNBC nightly.
I doubt I'll pay much attention to his second term beyond surly and my daily perusal of lefty websites.
David
i was the same. Good advice this time around.

I had a fun thought. Considering this group of sycophants he's assembling, the odds of them invoking the 25th amendment on him are probably less than zero. And impeachment means nothing now, apparently. Not like he'd get convicted in the senate anyway.
The’ll embalm him like Lenin, put him on display, and Vance/Miller will rule in His Name

Over 29 games, Ewers is behind only Colt in yardage, and that’s by not much. This is average Quinn. Mostly good enough. Another dose of good Quinn and we could run away with it.

Key match up is our defense against their o. Let’s assume they bring their A game. I think our D wins this, and the rest will be whatever winning offense Texas can muster, which looks to be quite a bit.

Isn't it incredible how consistently horrible it is? It's hard to account for why exactly that is.

I'm surprised more fans aren't concerned about the Texas run defense going against a top 10 rushing team. That's been the weakest link all season and Texas gave up 6.1 ypc to a FL RB on 19 carries. That's not too good, and FL didn't have a run threat at QB to worry about.
This game is also in Fayetteman and pig has had 2 weeks to prepare. I wonder what trick plays had sex with VB player will come up with. Texas just better come in with their heads on straight and piss in their veins.
Yes, we should be plenty alert to this offense. If they don’t turn the ball over, and the receivers have a better than average day, we may be in for a track meet. This is the best offense, quarterback, running back, and receiver we’ve faced.

I have a strong affinity for this. While recognizing that Israel is the only democracy in the ME, for which I have some sympathy, Bibi is a total asshole.
One of the Founding Fathers' great ideas was "let's not bring all that European infighting over HERE. Let's get us a fresh start." I thought that was somewhat true for the intractable Arab-Israeli conflicts of the last 50 years. We can argue about who bought it here first, but it seems to be a cancer to the body politic from where I'm standing.
Given what’s happened in the US, why should anyone care about Israel being a democracy. MAGA only loves because Revalations etc

Ok, Taffe and Helm.

Helm or Gbenda. Non stars who shone greatly their senior year.

I kind of liked the 6 weeks from injury Quinn. That was some real progress, whatever this thing is about individual throws.

Looked like to me that Quinn had more velocity on his throws against UF than the last few games. He might just be fully recovered from his strained abdomen.
6 weeks seemed to be his magic number. Let’s roll.

Tied foe 14th in Sacks in the SEC with A&M (didnt expect that) for the season
The sacks didn’t prevent these mudholings. Look at those QBR’s. Keep the pocket clean and this will be over by half.

Yeah, beating Tennessee shows Arky can rise to a competitive level. We just need to smoke them early, Florida style.

How does the pig front 7 compare to Florida’s? To Georgia’s?

Yeah it is, but I wonder why.
On the one hand, there's a lot of money there and a lot of education/educated. But same is true of NYC and Philly, just using east coast cities.
One thing that maybe stands out, from WWII to present, it has gone from 96.6% white to 44.7%.
I suppose the other standout demographic feature is that its largest white ethnic population is Irish at 14%.
The wealth gap is huge, but I suspect no different than NYC or Philly.
Take the train from Newark to DC. Inequality is to0 cold of a word to describe the track facing ghettos of Philly. That society has real problems.
or, Drive from Chicago to Nashville. Every middling city’s has its awful ghetto on display. The pictures just scream injustice and degradation.-

Well, compare your red district with a blue lone with similar demographics, and you might appear honest.

Populism and pluralism are not in necessary conflict, especially when the population in question is massive and diverse, as ours is. All I'm seeing is extremely vague fear-mongering. What, specifically, is your worry when someone advocates a larger populism within the Democratic party? Death camps for Christians? Slightly higher taxation on billionaires?
If what you're interested in here is just kind of a higher level discussion of populism and pluralism in a non-specific sense that isn't directly applied to the 202x political situation in America then that's not really of any interest at all to me.
I hear you, BT. But, lots of us don’t yet have a handle on the ontology etc of populism, and a few educational posts sure help me. Now, what is your application to our political situation in 202x?

The Killeen white ghetto that my parents raised 5 kids in was also the greatest time of their lives. My dad, soldier come postman, took a night job at a filling station when college loomed. My mom got a minimum wage job at the paper. Our house was 1100 sf.
I, my sisters, and our parents knew this life very well. We appreciated it, because that is what the culture nudged us to do.
Folks in similar circumstances now are very unsatisfied. No doubt today’s information deluge kicks them down that road. Yet our reactions to these circumstances remain always a choice.
Which choice is better? To appreciate life, as a default world view, or to see life as grievance, in one form or another.

They wanted a fetid dream and they want it now. They want impossibility and they want it now.
I am in high pain all day and night. These people got nothing on me. I didn’t vote to have my pain removed. It was to help others.
That notion, to help others, has gone down the drain for a majority of our society.

Alabama’s loss yesterday was so embarrassingly horrible that it should exclude Bama period. This isn’t about other teams.
