  1. Florida would take a hit under the previous scoring structure because we only have 9 men's programs compared to 12 women's programs, so we would always have to throw out 2 women's scores and take a 0 for a non-existent men's score.

The scoring structure has changed so many times over the years. At one point, IIRC, they only considered Indoor/Outdoor track a single sport and took your best result of the two.

how tf is that not a night game or at least afternoon

There are only 4 conference games that week.

But all of them could be big games.

Noon - Texas at Arkansas - ABC or ESPN
3:30-4:30 - Missouri at South Carolina - TBD
    3:30-8pm - LSU at Florida - TBD
    3:30-8pm - Tennessee at Georgia - TBD

Updated.  Nobody cares about 3rd-10th Place...

Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, and UNC are still playing baseball.

With Tennessee winning today, I think they lock in #3 but I think Florida and Virginia are still very close to one another. CWS results may matter.

I would not bet my life on it, but I don’t remember us going to a regional in between those years.

Either way, nine out of nine super regional wins is mind-bottling.

We did. We had 4 years where we didn't make it out of the regional. But since 2010, if Sully gets us to a super, we win.

I find this - odd. But that is in the rearview mirror and now it is time for us all to focus on Georgia losing tomorrow

That first line is supposed to be Super Regional, I think.

I can't figure out how he's got this score unless he's already doing some sort of partial count for Women's track as well.

When I calculate UF and Tennessee counting everything but Women's Track and giving both 64 for baseball, I'm still coming 70 points less for both Florida and Tennessee.

I don’t know exactly how much “Cardinal will need a big finish” means in this text, but they are in 16th place right now in W Track, which doesn’t sound too ‘big finish’ to me.  Texas is in 6th.

Looks like they need 7.25 points which is a pretty big lead until you get into a top 10/5 finish where you get more points for each spot.

If Texas stays at 8, Stanford would have to finish 4th.

I don't see a Supers thread yet so I guess I'll post this here for our Sunshine state brethren @Gatorubet @gatormarc.

Have to root for some underdog and y'all have some orange in your colors too, so go Gata.

Who knows? After name dropping last time and getting him a big raise by Perrin, maybe CDC tries to steal your coach !!!  (I keed, I keed)

I can't imaging Sully going anywhere.

Is this where I request that @immamac be banned from showing any confidence in Florida?

  9. Hate to see the run come to an end but the Gators played way above expectations this year.

A young team that was projected to finish 7th in the SEC and just inside the top 20 ended up top 4, SEC Tournament Champs, and taking OU to the limit.
