  1. Let's try a set without her, just for shits and grins.
  2. She is actively playing for Tenn at the moment.
  3. Bit of a collapse right now. 21-18 Tenn.
  4. So, rewatching the game from last year is interesting. We played much better than it felt like live. The defense got pressure and the secondary held up in coverage pretty well. Primary issue on defense appeared to be some issues with gap accountability. But, importantly, getting pressure really messed with Penix. This year's team should be able to largely replicate that without relying as much on delayed blitzes that always seemed to find a blocker. On offense, Quinn played really well, but only having one handed Worthy prevented us from converting some opportunities. We also had difficulties really establishing the run despite facing a decent amount of honest fronts. And, tell me if you have heard this before, we also struggled with untimely penalties and negative plays that would prematurely end a drive.
  5. I assume Washington will do what everyone has done to try and stop us the last 2 years, install the flyover (and maybe they already run it, I have no idea). There is too much evidence that it is really effective at stalling Sark's offense. Maybe we (really Quinn) have finally solved it. But I have to think Washington tries it.
  6. Yup, middle pressure without having to bring extra rushers would be huge.
  7. Bringing this in here (was posted on the cfp rankings thread). Its interesting that three of the teams have a fairly similar distribution pattern. Texas is unique in heavily attacking with passes behind the line of scrimmage. I'm surprised to see that we are last in percentage of really deep shots. It feels like, unlike last year, we hit a really high percentage of those.
  8. And Worthy was playing one handed essentially. And our oline had not yet put it together. That was an extremely limited offense on the field.
  9. Oh fucking bullshit. Texas fans didn't give a shit about either TCU or Baylor. Fuck them both.
  10. It would be a bad sign if it took Washington a month to figure out that it should throw the ball rather than try and run on us.
  11. Not to mention we hopefully have Worthy without a broken hand.
  12. Yeah. Playing the #71 ranked redzone defense is pretty intimidating. But I'm really glad we aren't playing #5.
  13. We definitely need to have redzone offense like we did against OSU rather than the rest of the season
  14. With our dline. I don't necessarily mean blitzing. I'll also add that those that could pressure him seemed to do a pretty good job of disrupting your offense.
  15. What they seemed to do really well last year was find a way to run the ball on us. The question I have is whether that was a schematic weakness or a personnel weakness that they exploited. Whatever the reason, I expect it is more likely that they try to do that again rather than try and install a short, timing based pass attack in a month.
  16. Yeah. His long run on the season is 11 yards. Seems like we would be in a good position to attack him on any passing down.
