  1. And nothing about our position is negatively affected.
  2. They only got in because the conference champs had more losses.
  3. If we win, we would be the clear top one loss team regardless. No need for Oregon to lose. Either FSU or Michigan lose, and we would for sure be in.
  4. Aggy also prioritizes moral victories. To each their own. I'll laugh if it happens, but it isn't the preferred outcome.
  5. Most likely yes (because Iowa isn't winning). But if Washington wins it goes from "most likely" to "no fucking chance at all". I'd like to have a lotto ticket just in case, especially since it costs us nothing.
  6. How? Does it open up a spot this year? No. Then how the fuck does it help us? Y'all are rooting against your own interest.
  7. It's pretty simple in my mind. An Oregon win here doesn't help us at all. The committee is human and they will put a one loss last ever Pac12 champion over a one loss Big12 champion because the Big12 lives on and will have more chances in the future. I could be wrong, but that's the way I see it...especially with Oregon being ranked over us and Bama all season long. And maybe that is correct. But they definitely are putting a zero loss Pac 12 champion over a one loss big 12 champion. We have a chance to take the spot, however small, if Oregon wins. We have zero chance if Washington wins. There is absolutely zero benefit to Washington winning. None.
  8. The rule may be stupid. But they very clearly lowered their heads to hit him because he was sliding. It was not part of trying to tackle him low. The rule can be wrong but this play is a really poor example of when it is wrong.
  9. Good god people, we want Oregon to win. An undefeated conference champ locks up a spot. A 1 loss conference champ has a spot we could take. It is that simple. No non conference champ has even gotten in over a champ with an equal record. It is a real clear line for the playoff committee over the years. The more one loss or worse teams as conference champs, the better for us.
  10. No, a 1 loss non champ Washington has no argument. No non champ has gotten in over a champ with an equal record. The only way a non champ gets in is if at least 2 of Texas, FSU, and Michigan gets upset.
  11. Probably not. But there is a small chance of it (especially if Alabama and Texas win). There is no chance of leaving a zero loss champ out.
  12. One loss Washington is out. One loss ducks have a chance of being out. Zero loss Washington has no chance of being out. This isn't hard.
  13. That's not what happened on this play. They lowered there heads after he started sliding. Watch the actual play.
  14. They lowered the heads to hit him because he started to slide, so they had plenty of time to decide. This isn't someone sliding and the players just hitting him while continuing their previous tackling motion. They aimed lower because he was going lower during his slide. I agree that sometimes this rule is unfair to defensive players. This is not one of those times.
