  1. Which is interesting considering it means the training data wasn't vetted to avoid sensitive issues.
  2. I'm sorry to hear that. Stay strong.
  3. This might be good business for lawyers when inevitably Trump fails to pay. I know folks think the government having limitless money means people can't afford to fight it. In this case, bottomless pockets will attract lawsuits, not deter them, especially with the possibility of winning attorneys fees (I'll have to think on statutes would allow you to recover them). For real though, this is poorly thought out and even if it results in resignations, will result in increases costs as people have to be hired back to, you know, actually do the work.
  4. I understand. I'm not arguing about valuation necessarily. I'm just saying I'm not convinced NVIDIA's sales see any significant reduction as a result of this. There is still pressure to having the best hardware and more of it. That hasn't changed really unless we are already near the apex of LLMs (and I don't believe we are).
  5. When he books flights to Russia?
  6. But will you continue to receive dialysis after that sweet sweet immigrant FICA money dries up? I'm all for fucking around and finding out for as many idiots as possible. That's how much I care.
  7. While they showed you didn't need a bazillion NVDA GPUs to get those particular results, the path of AI is such that having a bazillion GPUs will still be better for future development. You'll see some of these lessons incorporated into the models owned by those entities with the extra processing grunt. It is possible they will reach a point where the extra power doesn't provide any benefit to performance, but I really doubt we are anywhere near that.
  8. too soon.
  9. I'm not fluent, but I can read it fairly well.
  10. good.
  11. It isn't an argument. You're just making wild assed assumptions with no basis in fact because you're scared little cyka.
  12. Do you now understand that resident (legal or otherwise) and non-resident aliens pay FICA? You willing to admit that you were wrong? Of course you aren't. Cyka. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/aliens-employed-in-the-us-social-security-taxes
  13. I hope that is real. It is a shitty thing to hope, but I'm petty like that.
  14. Calm down. Reagan used it. As did other politicians both before and after him, including JFK. Your post suggested that you thought its use in connection with American exceptionalism began with Reagan, thus the responses. Or maybe you hate JFK and Obama too. I really don't know. Whatever.
  15. That phrase did not begin with Reagan.
  16. Correct. You have no idea what you're talking about.
  17. These are ignorant points. Chinese hypersonic weapons are significantly more advanced than what Russia typically calls hypersonic. Modern hypersonic weapons aren't just about speed, but about maneuverability at speed. The glide vehicle hypersonic missiles utilized by China are legitimately impressive and currently offer a capability that the US cannot replicate in its in-service arsenal. We do have a number of programs developing hypersonic glide vehicles similar to what China currently fields and more advanced hypersonic cruise missiles (powered hypersonic flight).
  18. That you in fact don't know how taxes work.
  19. Selling my car isn't going to cost him money. So I'm not going to do that. But I will not be shopping a Tesla for future vehicles (unless perhaps he gets kicked the curb).
  20. You live in a commercial?
  21. I don't think that is a bad call. The ball touched the ground, but it didn't move and it appeared both players had it before it hit the ground.
  22. I'm willing to find out.
  23. Bills need to score before half.
