Will feel a lot like 1995, never in doubt...the last time we rolled in with a gimp ankled QB
199 passing yards
Defensive dominates and offense does just enough.
James Brown deserves more Longhorns Legend status than he is afforded.
Texas 34
aNm something less than that.

I get that some of you are fucking idiots, but just forgetting about winning a NC and playing in another because you think Mack Brown is a dickhead is seriously some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen on the internet, and I've been on the internet a long fucking time.
Get a fucking grip. Did Mack deserve to be fired? yeah, every time, including this time. Did Mack Brown also have a fucking awesome run? Yeah. Both things can be true and one doesn't have to get thrown in the trash because you are fucking stupid.
He’s always been a little bitch. It’s just easier to tolerate when he’s winning 10 games a year.

I saw where it was possible that no Big 12 team might make the CFP, even the conference champion, that league is a real mess.
Isn’t it the top ranked 4 conference champions? If so it’s possible.

Looks like Aggy lost a starting linebacker, Scooby Williams, that knee injury looked pretty bad.
He came back in.

Just two drunk guys with no arms slugging it out.

And the conference and ABC weigh in.

everyone pay attention to abbott ruining public education, public universities are next and will be hit much harder
UT is already turning the corner on this. I’m super disappointed in Hartzell. The BOR fundamentally wants to change the university. Civitas Institute just the beginning.

Maybe the takeaway is that the "average working class family" economic situation in the 1970s or so that most folks here are describing....looks a whole lot like what people describe as "poor/struggling" today. A lifestyle of 1) never really being food insecure....but eating super-cheap shit (baloney sandwiches from a cooler on any road trip, because we didn't have "stop at a restaurant" money, mom shopped with coupons and was frugal as hell, so the fancy stuff you might have liked rarely made it into the grocery basket), 2) modest housing (apartment/cheap, small tract house furnished sparingly), 3) few "luxuries" (most vacations were indeed a weekend in Galveston or somesuch), etc. Nothing wrong with that life. BUT today.....that sort of life is "we've gotten a raw deal and are getting fucked" life to most Americans.
You sprung for the 79 cent items? Richie Rich over here. I stuck with the 59 cent items.
Society has changed. Much more designed to get in your pocket than it was in then. Every time I pay for a car wash, yard guy or oil change, I can hear my father in my head telling me I’m wasting money.
My parents literally had the same furniture my whole life. I never wanted for anything growing up. But, it was a different mindset. Eating out was Luby’s. We didn’t get cable until 1980 and there was no way my parents were going to pay for an extra phone line for me to chat up my friends. Most of my clothes were hand me downs. We took driving vacations and stayed in roadside motels. I remember eating pimento cheese sandwiches out of a cooler at roadside rest areas. My father performed tasks around the house that I would have no clue about how to do now.
When my parents passed, they were sitting on a very large sum of money. They could have had nicer things but they really didn’t feel the need.

I don't know, but I'm curious what y'all think of this... I feel like most longhorns I know see the game with the Aggies as just a means to finish out the season strong and go to the playoffs. It's another game. It's an important game and it is a game for bragging rights but it's not something I'm obsessing about. It's not like we're talking about it that much other than to say we hope to shut up.
As for aggy... Is this all they've thought about all season? Like seriously, non-stop obsession.
Damn I forgot how annoying they were.
I’ve got to say that this has been a topic with my other friends who were in school during the 80’s. My four years, we did not beat A&M once. It was fucking miserable. Those people seriously made you secretly pissed that Texas was so gracious when the bonfire finally toppled because of stupidity that was even evident to me as a college student.
For my generation, we hated ou but would trade a loss in that game for a win against a&m.
To a man, all my friends think that Texas will not be prepared for the hate that those people will have for them.-

A decent percentage of guys I work with make $130-180k/year and live paycheck to paycheck. Gotta buy a new $80k truck every year. Gotta get a new four wheeler, fifth wheel, boat, etc.
And go on that Carnival cruise during the summer.

We were scheduled to spend Thanksgiving with my very large extended family on my mother's side. They are small-town, South Texas, blue collar people for the most part. They are 99% Trumpers. As are my parents, who are single issue voters (abortion). I don't discuss politics with them and find it pretty easy to avoid the topic if it comes up. Plus, I'm pretty sure they all think that I think like they do. We have decided to just do Thanksgiving with just our immediate family - me, my wife and our three boys. We rented a cabin on the river in the Hill Country and we're going to spend the week being together, fishing, canoeing, exploring, seeing the sights. We're not doing this to punish my relatives, at all. This is about us and doing what we need to do not to feel totally depressed and isolated. But, there is a small part of me that hopes that some of them notice we're gone and understand why and regret it.
Fuck them. You will make a lot of memories on that trip. Hope you and your family enjoy.

How dare you leave out EVISCERATED
Duffy's wife was on Puck's season of Real World and fucked around with him.
And then she tried to deny it. I remember at the time that I kind of hoped he had given her a world class case of the herpes.

Take that extra money. It’s a drop in the well in terms of adding to the deficit. Plus giving tax breaks to the working and middle class has a multiplier effect on the economy. We want that money spent
That will just be a drop in the bucket verses every CEO’s bonus now being labeled a tip. The Supreme Court already held this year that a public official can take a “tip” and thus it’s not violative state of anti bribery statutes.

I deleted twitter and stopped watching cable news.
I will watch the evening national news and read a newspaper but I’m not subjecting myself to CNN and MSNBC and all the opinion stuff masquerading as expertise.-

I’d start by asking your wife why she is so intent on you being down on Rainey Street on Saturday evening? Sounds suspicious. Hope you can swim better than the others could.
And also, Uber is the answer here. Not even Uber black. Issues like this really should’ve been settled 38 years ago. My girlfriend knows that I would bend over backwards and move mountains to help her out with the important things in life. But there is no fucking way she would ever tell me she’s too good for Uber and expect me to miss a game for some high maintenance bullshit.
Mom is always right.

he can tie up doj resources investigating jack smith all he wants. that's for sure. he may even get a friendly judge to sign off on an fbi warrant to go rearrange his house and harass smith (though i doubt it).
but anyone that knows anything about jack smith knows that there is nowhere to go with any of it and getting a grand jury to indict him for jaywalking will be a real challenge.
Sure, but you understand that just being under investigation can cause someone to expend a significant amount of resources.

well, he could open a federal investigation of him if he broke federal laws.
i am not aware that prosecuting a suspected felon, prevailing in a jury trial, and getting 34 felony convictions against said defendant is a federal crime.
yet.
Read about Andy McCabe. Read about how Barr fucked around with Cohen when he wouldn’t agree to not write a book. Here is something from today.

But on the other-other hand, we're going to need a steady supply of low-skill, low-wage workers if Trump is going to undertake his mass deportation. And I can think of few better places to get those workers than rural Arkansas, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Texas once the federal government cuts their communities off from the federal largesse that keeps them inhabitable.
Pilgrim’s Pride chicken ranches in East Texas will go out of business.

For what do you think matt gaetz will be able to convince a grand jury to indict Jack Smith...even in this bizarre version of reality?
I don’t really have the inclination to think it through. But, I’ve seen some things up close in my time and a motivated prosecutor has a lot of power. Kind of like when they go after someone for something and they turn over every rock and find some transaction and label it tax fraud even though it had nothing to do with why they were looking at them in the first place.
Sometimes I wish people really understood what goes on in the justice system. You probably think judges are impartial too, right?-

Hoping someone can help me. I’m currently running a Marantz 2230 and a Marantz Model 140. What I am trying to accomplish is what is described in this thread: https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/correct-speaker-setup-from-3200-to-140-to-run-headphones.445526/
My question is how does the connection picture at the end of the thread translate into what I have with the 2230?
It’s the speaker connection I want to emulate so I can use the headphone output on the 2230
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
