All these commentators are going to defend their constituencies. Klatt shills for the Big 10 and Colorado. If he were at ESPN, he'd flip to the SEC!SEC!SEC! He's a lot more fair than most but he also has his bias. I don't hate Herbstreet like most on here but the shitting on Indiana just makes no sense after having Gameday go there and go full throated on Cignetti and what he had built. There are bound to be shitty opening games. That happens in the NFL too during Wildcard Weekend. There was no SEC team that got screwed over. They all had issues, none of them were that worthy. It's not as if they lost to other really good SEC teams. They each lost to a shit one, except South Carolina and they got pantsed OU style by Alabama. Once Tennessee went down in flames, that ended all SEC teams should've been in arguments. Maybe all the conferences just aren't that great this year because NIL has completely leveled the playing field and the teams that have been built over years are the ones rising up over the upstarts.
I like Klatt. He’s in the phase where he’s still a person and not a “personality”. KH has been a “personality” for a while now.

Back in the old paradigm, this may have had some weight. No more, I'm sorry to say.
There is absolutely no evidence that actual policies and policy results matter much in America. When's the last time you won a point with a MAGA by stating an obvious fact? The active vote and shameful acquiesence of non-voters shouts who the party of the people is. The choice could not have been clearer.
Stop blaming the Dems who represent what we wish was true about this country. There is no adjustment to the message or even choice of candidate that can matter much. People don't want anything that reeks of humanity or tolerance or citizen teamwork. The vote and failure to vote prove this.
The new paradigm is war. Those who love America and hate everything else versus the rational people. The rational people got slaughtered. I don't see a road that civilizes MAGAs to understand liberal democracy or the importance of unity among similar nations.
The traitors are in charge.
Great post. On par in my book with this:

I would bet that those same states lead in the amount of subsidies that are utilized as well.

the incident in question happened at the superdome, in a different bowl game, we're not playing uga this week and the peach bowl's historical acc-sec tie-ins ended 10 years ago.....
i want to see the written Georgia World Congress policy, the State of Georgia law, or the already released statement on AMB Group LLC stationary above the signature of someone willing to cop to the decision
is this too much to ask?
this hiding behind social media posts with no name, no signature, nothing other than "bevo can't come because reasons" is total bullshit
I thought it was the SEC screwing with us when announced for the conference championship game. Then I went to the game and saw how tight the area was surrounding the field and thought that it made sense to not bring Bevo. Frankly, I think it would be disturbing to the animal to have it there under those circumstances.

Cot dam, give me some of whatever you're drinking, because I sorta lost interest after the SEC CCG. There may have been 11 different ways to win that game, take home SEC hardware in the first year, and enjoy the easier path through to the CFP, but no, he lost to another pudgy dipshit in a visor.
UGA's path is cakewalk and one we should be enjoying. Now, it'll be hilarious to see them bounced by ND, but our side of the bracket gets too spicy after ASU. All that's left is to execute Shock & Awe from here on out, and I need some help with that motivation.

In the last 17 years, Rick Barnes and Rodney Terry have been to exactly the same number of Elite Eights. In the last 5 seasons, Chris Beard has won a grand total of TWO tournament games. Shaka Smart has made it past the first round in the tournament exactly one time in the last 14 years.
Yes, these coaches are ranked highly right now, but lets see the season play out before we cry too hard.
I get your point and it’s fair. But, Rodney Terry is not a good coach.

Haven’t watched a game which is unusual for me as I love UT hoops. I’m just out on the Terry era and the pre season schedule outside of a couple games was brutally boring and bad. Here’s hoping we can hit 500 in conference and make March madness or flame out big time enough to get a different coach. Will lock in after Xmas with conference starting for at least a bit. What have I missed?
Nothing really. Trey Johnson I guess. That’s about all I’ve gotten out of it. Maybe the candy striped coaches shirts which someone must have told them to stop wearing?

Crazy thing is 8-10 might get us in the tournament. We would be right on the bubble. The SEC is probably better than the Big 12 this year.
I think it’s universally agreed it is the best conference this year. I did read where Lunardi thought so.
I just don’t see us getting in the tournament this year. Hope I’m wrong.

Getting some portal drama from the Arizona State Texas Rejects. Not important but funny to share since he’s suggesting he got forced out.
Sounds like we did him a solid by being honest and allowing him to go have a good experience somewhere else. He sounds like kind of a hay seed.

The aggies on 247 are getting too close to getting it for my liking. I’m guessing at least 20% of the posters are calling the Humphrey take a bad reach, which it, of course, is. There’s also a bunch of anxiety about the TE take from Auburn. If some of them have an attitude about landing Hudson, then it might be time to worry.
I’m sure I missed it but what was the issue with Hudson and Tech?

Just drove to sugar land and back and the trump signs are back with a vengeance on 71. Hell, there’s two small prop planes outside some place that are painted with dotard and Harris’ names and the Harris one’s wings have fallen off. Very clever magats.
Yeah, the reviews on that place pretty much say don’t stop unless you are white.

Reminder getting a medical card is really easy. It's just edibles and tinctures but it's real legit THC and is reasonable price wise IMO. It's also not getting looked at by Patrick in this crusade
I don’t trust the State of Texas. If you have a professional license I sure wouldn’t let them know you like the weed.

I think hunting the big play in 2nd halves instead of just moving the chains has hurt us some. Seems like in a lot of those collapses, there were drives where we threw deep unsuccessfully on 1st and 2nd down. Sark usually has a great initial game plan, but once teams adjust, it seems we have no counter in certain games. Georgia moved the chains with their back-up qb, nothing flashy. Did just enough. Of course, they established their run game, which helped. I’d like to see Sark use some wrinkles in the run game early in 2nd halves to break the will of opponents. Almost happened against aggie until the stupid INT.
Fred Akers, David McWilliams, John Mackovick, Mack Brown after Alabama Rose Bowl, Charlie Strong and Tom Herman. That’s what I’ve endured from being a college freshman until now. I think complaining about Sark (and Quinn for that matter) is fucking stupid. But, if I was going to criticize Sark, it would be this.

I think this is just a reflection of how stupid our general population is and how social media and those who desire it, can manipulate and shape what our general population thinks and hence what makes up our current “news”.
And yes, social media has made us all dumber.-

It will be interesting to see how America reacts if they do succeed at massive deportations. It's one thing to think about it in the abstract and far away. It's another to see people in your own community affected. What happens when local restaurants or services start to be visibly affected? Food prices increase or there are shortages of things like chicken. Construction halts, you can't find a lawn service, the office trash stops being emptied, etc.
The whole thing is premised on the lie that these people are stealing jobs from red blooded Americans.

Are there really many Americans that go hungry these days? Genuinely asking. I know it's not zero but I have to guess that even the extreme poor have access to food, if they pursue it. Not talking about healthy food but calories to get them through the day. I could see that someone with mental or physical illness going without just because of the challenges of their diseases.
Let me assure you, there are. Try volunteering at your local food bank and see all the people that go underserved by charities.

The question was asked "why did Fred Akers brought in to replace Darrell Royal?" The main reason was because of his earlier ties to Texas football. He was considered to be one of Royal's better recruiters. Matter of fact. Coach Akers recruited a lot of the 1967 UT class that is still considered to be one of the best in the school's history. (The myth that Royal was just recruiting players to keep them from competing against him started with this class).Coach Akers was considered to be an up and coming coach that would fit the new image of UT. He also brought in a new updated concept of defense to the equation. He also hailed from a school that absolutely hates Texas(Arkansas). While he was friends and former teammate of Barry Switzer, Coach Akers understood the meaning of the OU game. He would never invite Barry Switzer to speak with any Teas team like Mack Brown did. one time. When Mack did that, it was like him spitting on Coach Royal's face. He knew how Coach Royal felt about Switzer.
Interesting how Texas always hires a coach who is 180 degrees different from the previous one.

I've never seen Georgia people throw stuff at the other team. The bark, yeah.
And it seems none of you have ever been to an OU game!
The whole SEC seems to have gone full aggy with the Horns down bit. They all did the gator chomp back at Florida, so they have adopted the Horns down.
I’ve been to more OU games than I can count and none were worse than last weekend.
