  1. Nah - Doesn’t matter, we’re going to go the route of default before too long.  It’s either inflating our way out of debt or default.  As said elsewhere, we’re an unserious country in search of dopamine hits.

I see this as the end state and probably some catastrophic event will need to happen to shock the populus before anything changes.

Kinda funny watching a bunch of people with state issued licenses in law and architecture and what not, with wives and kids and real responsibilities, argue with the hard rock cafe waiter. He doesn't understand you and you don't understand him.

Just FYI state licenses can be used by someone residing outside the state.  I’m licensed in TX and have been for 25 plus years, and am licensed in CA too.

I’ve had that under consideration, but not sure it’s worth the tradeoff yet. It really doesn’t matter as I’ll either have to buy seasons of a couple History shows, or a couple AMC shows.

    Screwed either way.

It gets me ESPN + and Hulu with ads at the same price.  I’m very irritated with the pricing trend though and would probably just get rid of live TV but for my wife wanting it.

Just got an email from YTTV saying they are raising the price ten dollars with no additional features or content. I may be out on “regular TV” after college football ends.

I switched to Hulu live at the same price and canceled YTTV.  No value proposition there.

Wait, what?  Do you think that we are going to see net migration out of Texas and out of Austin b/c (State) politics are too conservative?

I will go ahead and put whatever amount on the opposite of that proposition as you want to.  Texas will be a net migration winner for my entire lifetime (and I'm a man- I'm 46 damn it) I would bet lots of money on.  It's the trend and has been since the creation of air conditioning.

I agree completely.  I don’t think it’ll change for about another 20 years probably.  When the water situation gets fucked enough (it’s on its way) it’ll start reversing.

Here’s a thought. Maybe don’t view obesity as a failure of will but instead a disease that could be treated and cured.
Then those “fatties” wouldn’t need a rascal and you wouldn’t be using up precious healthcare resources to deal with the complications that come with the condition.

Explain why the US is unique in its fatness around the world?
