  1. Poor Russians. Im about to go wait in line outside to buy some cheesecake from the Ukrainian bakery here in SA so i can completely sympathize
  2. What on earth could theses sex workers do to pay the rent?? Hmmm… Anyone???
  3. Very interesting observation. Don’t have anymore rep today, but ill make sure to hit you up when i do.
  4. When i was a kid we were walking down a street during a festival and my dad pointed out a young guy, well dressed, passed out hard, palms up on a little grass hill. The guy had a big, fat Nikon camera around his neck that looked like something a paparazzo should have. Like $10K easy. My dad pointed out two other young guys were walking past and stopped, looked at the guy and turned in to speak to each other. We were at a distance and my dad pointed and said “See, look. Those thugs are going to steal his camera. Watch. Thats why you can let yourself be vulnerable like that! Don’t forget this!” The two guys indeed went up to the passed out guy and one lifted him a bit and the other took his camera. The guy then took a picture of the drunk guy with his camera and they put the camera back on his neck and walked off laughing. My dad was right, i never forgot it.
  5. Both are great trips, really. If your GF/wife is more into, say, a stay at The Grand in Paris then those trips would probably not be fun for her. More history, experiences and closer contact with the native population than the tourist centric flash and razed dazzle of Paris/London.
  6. Based on the video of the captured Russian soldiers, I wonder if the military would actually have the initiative to follow through with Poo’s order to use nuclear weapons.
  7. Exactly. You want to pack some hiking shoes. If you’re looking for shopping, clubbing, etc then stay in the west. Also, if you’re single the girls there do not put out. At all.
  8. You’re not wrong. Definitely, Eastern Europe is a specific sort of experience. Kinda like going to Peru.
  9. What do you suppose is the over/under would be on them saying “lawyer”?
  10. Oh, I’m sure he’s around. It’s a shame, I liked NowThis. We all got our kinks, man. Junior Miller moved to New Zealand and decided to go native and finger eleven the US, IIRC. Seems he should hold on that GF like grim death
  11. The US doesn’t assassinate legit country leaders anymore. Hard line on that. if they are stripped of their title and designated “terrorists” however…
  12. it was definitely a deal with the devil and they knew it. They just saw trump as worse and while their needs were very pressing, they also wanted to give a little ‘fuck you’ to the US IMO. Being petty is also something the Germans know how to do well.
  13. Yep, that led to 3 major waves of Germans to Texas over the next 100 years
  14. We share more of our American culture with Germany and have more in common with Germans than the English since English manners are mostly derived from the Germanic Courts as their Royal line is in fact German. Somewhat ironic since today their directness is in contrast to the masterful English passive aggression. Germans were also the Royal leaders of Mexico and influenced a great deal of their culture as well. Im not trying to tell you to like Germans, rather just pointing out that lots of people in the world view Americans the way we view Germans.
  15. yeah, Trump alienated the Germans (no CR speaking from the Germans perspective) also the refugee situation has caused huge pressures internally politically and as Merkel has finally retired many of the people who were vying for her place afterwards felt they could not count on the US like they had in the past. Indeed, they made a deal with the devil. while I’m not making excuses for anybody or their mistakes, I feel like this unfortunate mess will repolarize our allies with us and could lead to some real positives for the world. Ukrainians are literally fighting for all of us right now
  16. While yours is a fair point, I would still bet my money that there was some sort of important dealings concerning the conflict that required him to stay as late as he could. I don’t know terribly much about German intelligence, however, I do know Germans and for them to say that their top spy just wasn’t watching the news for three solid days is most definitely bullshit
