  1. Yep. St. Maarten was one of our favorites and when wed go out on fishing trips, the crazy yachts are something to behold. The same in Santorini. There really are few things that give you a better perspective of the literal ocean of wealth some people have. It will be interesting to see if the US can keep the pressure on and actually make these guys pay for their crimes. Im going to enjoy watching to find out.
  2. You know I love you, man. You’re speaking truth.
  3. While I’m laughing, part of me is thinking we might need to think about this shit for our forces.
  4. yep. It sure helps when the enemy has fangs and horns, I’ll tell ya.
  5. ok that’s some good shit. I’ll hit you when I recharge my rep battery
  6. Funny enough when my mom was in High School in Indianapolis one of the first super sonic jets cracked a boom over them and it blew out all the windows. There’s an old movie with Tom Hanks “Splash” where his mermaid girlfriend called out some high pitch shit and everything in an electronics store explodes. That’s what she would always say it was like.
  7. my mom was in Okinawa in the 70s and saw an SR-71 accelerate overhead after refueling at low altitude. She had no idea what it was since it was still classified but she remembers seeing this black shape come over the horizon silently, then it shot over head and then the sound hit and caused her to cover her right ears and pushed her into a crouching ball. It evidently even broke windows in the neighborhood.
  8. Guess Russia didn’t upgrade their armor since 1991
  9. From what I gathered it’s an ‘every able body’ type of fight. Only the kids and old are hiding somewhere. Anyone else hear anything about that?
  10. How bout you start helping the Ukraine and go get yourself a McRib. What matters in this life is what we do, not say
  11. Yup. Fucking amazing what happens when people work together a tiny bit. Marc is being an instrument of our country right now and even though he hasn’t really been my favorite guy as of late, I gotta give credit where credit is due.
  12. Oh boy. He’s got a good heart. I grew up in and have known a lot of military. I know about it from enlisted to officer to special forces to navy seal and know all about the shit candidly from people first hand. Ideals change pretty quickly when you get your first kill. I’ve heard a thousand stories. One of my friends first kill was in Afghanistan was a 12 y/o boy that would hang out and play with their unit. Another was a special forces sniper who had to take out a 16 y/o pregnant girl in pieces so as not to set off the bomb strapped to her. They didn’t hesitate, that was what they had to do- but they had to because they were fighting for their country rather than personal ideals. Ideals are romantic, they are wrapped up in how things “should” be. Lord Byron was a romantic too and he died for a noble cause, but it wasn’t his own. Once you get a little older you realize there is no “should” only an infinite spectrum of “perspectives”. I mean this with all respect for you kid and truly am not condescending or patronizing, but I would beg him to consider that we as people need to go to war when we have to, not when we feel like it. Good luck, he’ll be in our prayers regardless of what he chooses to do.
  13. Some body hit up @atomheartbevo for me please. Im spent
  14. Yeah, the far right over there is… something else right now.
  15. Their operations are more delicate especially within Europe. They are more loose nit associations rather that active military teams.
  16. Yes, but its not just his ego he’s worried about. His perception by the Russians as an iron figure is what he’s most concerned about. A long, drawn out war would not be in his best interests. I feel he plows ahead but could capitulate to a cease-fire if this runs weeks long.
