  1. Ha, honestly never even thought of the looks of the bottle. I would imagine they are using a dark bottle to hide 4 year old juice though.
  2. People don't like the bottle? That's interesting, I live very close to new riff, have done a private barrel pick there, etc and haven't heard that before, honestly only heard the opposite that everyone loves the bottle designs. Suppose that is a hometown bias. Like what was said above, the single barrel rye is great, sib bourbon can be fantastic depending on pick, and balboa rye is also great. They do good things for the whiskey being young and they've spared no expense with equipment, process, and aging.
  3. BigD, we need confirmation on your thoughts here
  4. He confirmed he's coming back after the Fiesta bowl
  5. Kolar (tight end) and eisworth (safety) both coming back and with Campbell's last tweet it makes me hopeful he sticks around a while at least
  6. Interesting blind tasting kit I got from a local place, too bad it ended up being makers mark, bulleit rye, basil Hayden, and woodford reserve. It was fun trying to guess though. Amazing how much the basil Hayden sucked compared to even the other 3
  7. Clemson sucks as a town unless you go out to the lakes
  8. Jesus fuck I'm jealous you get btac for 200 per month spending. I spend more than that at a few different local places now after my main one got bought out and don't get a second look. You have to spend at least a grand a month to even register as a priority customer here. Or throw some big ass parties to get enough "points" in order to buy something for retail. I'm also drunk and disgruntled from the sooners beating Iowa state today, so that doesn't help.
  9. I see this daily around my parts. Insanity
  10. Oklahoma would be higher if that were the case
  11. How is that sorted into 1-10? Randomly?
  12. Pay when you pick your number basically
  13. Lulz that was you from that thread? That was a funny one.
  14. They tweaked engraving on bottle and the sticker a bit as strictly cosmetics in addition to what Bill said on batch.
  15. He turned down Tennessee once and no way on Pitt. The other 3 are the main worries I think.
  16. Hell yeah, invite me over ha. I definitely have some I prefer though. Four roses, Weller sr or antique, or 1792 bib and full proof are go tos.
  17. My philosophy as well with around the same amount open
  18. Justin's hob is pretty cool but the prices on the rare stuff are mostly meant to keep things there as a museum. They want people to come in to be impressed and either get single pours or buy other non rare bottles. I was in their about a month ago in Lexington and snagged a 1792 sweet wheat for 35 bucks on the retail side of the store, while the "rare" side of the store had literally the same bottle of sweet wheat for $350.
  19. Party taco takes down Tennessee, nice
  20. Never had the larceny BP but this was an excellent pour. Would highly recommend at retail.
  21. Might be the wrong crowd for this but decided to have a celebratory fresh crack pour
