I’m not discounting them. I said they’ll probably win 70 games for god’s sake. I just want to see them play some better competition. Lakers without Lebron. GS sat Horford for the back to back. They statistically have had the weakest schedule in the league so far.

Lakers are 4th in the West and OKC is up by 59 points or something.

Your point is valid but you should be asking how good these other teams really are.

And? This just in: games get out of hand and teams mail it in at garbage time, especially older ones. They’ve still played the easiest schedule in the league so far.

His is tonight going?  They're up on the Lakers by 30 at the half.  Their second best players has still yet to play.

The same Warriors team who gave up or something beat the Spurs tonight on the 2nd night of a back to back.

They've also had a dogshit schedule. They're great, don't get me wrong, and will probably win 70 games this year. And they definitely have the best roster in the league. But they've only beat two teams who are above .500 so far - Houston in 2OT opening night and Atlanta. I'd like to see them challenged a little bit more than dysfunctional Memphis and Sacramento. They have the Lakers coming up for whatever that's worth and the Wolves towards the end of the month. But they don't face Denver until February.

They beat Golden State by 30 or something last night.

I don't think it's time to hit the panic button just yet. They're .500 and Curry and Horford have missed games. They lost Looney who was pretty much their only big worth a shit last year and a tremendous glue guy. Quentin Post and Trayce Jackson Davis (who has also missed some games this year) aren't exactly putting any fear into anyone. The big question with them has always been health and size. They haven't had a ton of either this year. Even at full strength, they are one of the smallest teams in the league. That Hartenstein/Chet combo was always going to be a bad matchup for them and now they get French Vanilla tonight.

All I know is that I wouldn't want to face a fully healthy Warriors team in a playoff series. There are a ton of dudes on that roster with lots of playoff skins on the wall. They are just going to have to figure out how to bubble gum and band aid themselves into the playoffs. Utah, Memphis, NOLA, Sacramento and Dallas look like they are destined for the bottom. I don't thinking making the play in in the west is going to be as daunting as it originally seemed. But it's still way early....

I was at the game last night.  Not only is GS old now, they're not deep at all.  OKCs "other guys" are tiers better than theirs.

To face them in a playoff series means GS has to get to the playoffs, which I think they will, but what kind of condition will they be in and can they go 100% every other day?  In one game, Steph is still Steph but over a 7 game series, they're not beating any of the top 4 teams in the West.

Yes, they're also small.  All of the other good teams in the West have good bigs.

So, far it's OKC and Denver with Houston being 3rd.  OKC has the best roster by a wide margin.  They only have one loss and Jalen Williams hasn't even played yet and they've had other minor injuries to guys.  Jokic is still a fucking load so in a seven game series, anything is possible from him.

Harden's box score for that game: 50 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 turnovers, 11-37, 5-20 from 3.....24-24 on free throws.

Steph Curry didn't ruin basketball. Mother fucking James Harden ruined basketball.

They both kind of did.  Everyone tried to copy them and they couldn't because they're not as good.  As a result, you have a Celtics team that just runs down the court and only shoots 3's.  That system works when you have 2 of the greatest shooters in the history of basketball.

Same with Harden's step back.  That's a physically hard shot to make but you had college dudes doing it.

  6. Dallas should blow the whole thing up.  Trade anyone and everyone for young players and picks and build around Cooper.  This roster isn't winning anything.  The timelines are off and that's assuming AD and Kyrie are both going to be healthy at the same time.  (Lulz.)

Cade shot 14/45 from the floor tonight.

    Jacksonville Jaguars Wtf GIF

    Filled out the stat-sheet though.

    That sounds like a lot:

His 31 missed shots are the most by a player in a game since the 1976-77 merger. The last player to miss that many shots was Rick Barry in 1967, when he went 17-of-50 from the field. Of the 1,534 instances of a 45-point game in NBA history, Cunningham had the second-worst field goal percentage (31.1%), behind only James Harden (20.7%) in 2019.

ACA funding/subsidies will never be more front and center than it's been over the last several weeks. Nobody will remember this in January, much less November. They're gone. Billionaire tax breaks will never go away tho.

If the ACA subsidies go away and people's premiums triple or something, there will be outrage and they'll solely blame the R's and rightfully so.  The Dems should have never been delaying this vote.  Give the R's enough rope to hang themselves.

  9. For a brief moment in the history of the universe and at the same time, Sacremento, New Orleans, and Memphis all had not only good teams but a lot of future potential.

And just like that, they're back to where they've been and the top teams are the same as they've always been.

I have a very specific reason for needing to carry occasionally and I would rather do it with a revolver but my Governor is too big and showy.
@Armybrat what’s your favorite snubnose these days? I’m trying to make up my mind between a Ruger LCR in 327 Magnum, a 357 King Cobra 3” (not exactly snub), and a Taurus 605.

Don’t limit yourself to the above. I’m only gonna get one snubnose, what would you pick and why?

I got one of these along with the .357 above.  (Not my pic.)  S&W .38 638 Airweight.  5 shot.
