Well then again, they are discussing throwing at a college kid's head because he stared at their dugout...even some idiots would understand that's moronic.  And I love how aggy is all about classiness and just "playing the game" in these situations, yet constantly flashing horns down or "Cart McCoy" is all cool.  F those bubble blowers.

You think after 100+ years, aggy would be used to people staring at them.

  3. Jefferson Airplane / Jefferson Starship / Starship are in the bucket of "used to be cool, then turned to absolute garbage but sold billions of records" along with Heart, Chicago / Cetera, Genesis / Phil Collins, Aerosmith, and I'd throw in Kool  & the Gang, Aretha, and Tina Turner too.
Cocaine and power ballads are both helluva drugs.

    Great article.  Thanks.

I've always enjoyed Steve's music.  I never understood the backlash.  It's well-written, well-performed, and hooky as hell.  The guy has a ton of talent.

I always thought his music was catchy and very listenable. It's always been good music for hanging out on the water, drinking beer in the summer.

I'd heard claims he was just a musical parrot, aping others' licks. He caught flack for being a curmudgeon about the R&R HofF, etc., and as the article stated, he's been pretty faceless throughout his career, so it was hard to get a read. He's played with some great names, and I had no idea his mentor was Les Paul. I have a better appreciation, now.
