  1. If compared to other technical garments that has UV blocking and are  breathable....80% of it is just looking the part.  20% is go fast if you indeed go very fast.

Midriff shouldn't be a problem if you wear bibs.  Don't have a waistline like regular shorts do.  That said, sizing across brands and cuts are variable, and even within a single line, cycling QC is shit and you'll find variance even with Castelli and Rapha goods.

That said, I like Castelli stuff.  Also Santini and Sportful, and wiggle in-house DHB branded gear

  2. Rollers are probably quieter too, so keep that in mind

At $200 look used.  Tons of folks (like me) buy trainers and then abandon them because it's a love it or hate it thing.

I'd do anything intermediate priced.  Either buy a cheapo roller or manual turbo, if you just want to clock up some miles.  Or go for a direct drive smart trainer, if you are into hardcore gekkery, because they are well priced now.

How about this one.   You are engaged in deep dicking and the woman is getting ready to orgasm.  My ex-wife would almost always start to moan "Oh God, oh god" right before yelping.  My very limited experience tells me that this vocal phrasing is not uncommon.  Does someone who is not an English speaker also commonly yell, moan, etc., "Oh god" but in the language of their upbringing?

and what if she's a mute?

the Harlem Globetrotters are electrifying as well, they have about as much to do with NBA playoff basket ball as your hero

Dipo will be making more money after this season, his game blossomed without the Westbrook neck anchor

I'm very happy that Victor Oladipo earning more money will materially affect your life.  Who are you inviting to the celebration?

His priorities have nothing to do with shitty opinions.

Paul George Staying?  Olidipo still full of regret?  Like Russ, you should own your dumbass opinions or “shut that shit down”

O, the Dipo who went for 5-20 his last game?  And 5-15 before that?  Almost as impressive as Harden's 2-18 playoff performance.

The fuck I care if PG stays or goes?  How does that change watching RW as an electrifying player.

That the voting media likewise enjoys his performances and rewarded him with an award , making you all piss your panties for 12 months, makes it all the funnier

you'll still have plenty of idiots who think he's great and it's everyone else's fault (5280 i'm looking at you) that his team is spare as fuck, but hopefully most rational people who somehow didn't already see this are having their eyes opened this series.

he is great.  exactly like aggie says - hes a force of nature and hyper entertaining to watch play.  thats what i derive from watching sports.  unlike you i dont define my life by it.  check your priorities bro.

  7. from a consumers point of view the fascinating thing about the internet is that it brings more transparency into the oem/obm/odm world.  with a tiny bit of snooping you can see who does what in the commercial chain.  who produces what.  whos copying whom.  whos rebranding/relabeling it.  you can connect a little closer to the manufacturing.... almost all of which is chinese, of course.

  8. This is wishy-washy and a huge generalization, but culturally, copying is seen in some ways as admiration.  Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery and all that...

Also on the pragmatic side, it's just pure cutthroat capitalism.  Why spend $$$ and time on R&D and differentiation when you could just replicate?

In terms of manufacturing, they (or indeed anyone else) can produce almost anything at any quality.  They're just meeting market demands and specifications, whether that's dictated by Apple or Afghanistan.  If there's a brazillion shittastic bluetooth speakers out on the market... that's just because the market exists for ultracheap shittastic speakers.

So there's a great irony at play when "Westerners" are lamenting the proliferation of 'cheap' Chinese goods...

Finally got all our stuff - helmets, gloves, shorts, flat fix kits (in small saddle bags), water bottles and holders, and a pump. We will go back in a few weeks to talk about pedals and shoes.

We were able to do 16 miles yesterday without breaking too much of a sweat. It's kinda fun and exciting having a new form of exercise and not knowing what our physical limits are yet. I know exactly how far I can run. I have no idea how far I can bike but I'm eager to test it out.

I got a phone app to track rides. I was thinking about getting a phone mount for the handle bars to make it easier to access the info and map. Is that kosher or are there cycling rules that frown on that type of thing?

    * you can find your physical limit quite easily.  VO2max level is the foundation and the ceiling of your aerobic performance.  you can approximate it with a few running tests (google it).... which then can reliably infer your cycling performance.

    * at first, your limit will be constrained by adaption to cycling - fit, comfort, motion, pacing.  after that, duration is just about nutrient, and speed is about vo2max as above.

    * phone mount is poo-pooed by the community.  if you are just putting around, riding for fun, its fine.  if you are more serious, just get a cycling computer system with cadence + heart rate now from wahoo or garmin.  it'll tell you lots about your form and fitness.  eventually you might upgrade to a power meter for serious training.

Not in the US they don't....and they make it very difficult to buy one over the counter in Europe. Very difficult.

On US RS's, they also remove the floor reinforcements for the bars that every Euro car comes with.

Intedassting...i thought I seen non-racing gt3 on Rennlist  with the cages.  .the local configurator don't offer it either so maybe it's not yet offered for current gen ?

We have several in the area at restaurants. I know a couple people that have them at their house as well.

If I'm so inclined, I might build one at the new place.

If not, tons of people are making these fiery portable little wood-fires ovens.  Seems ....intedassting.
