  1. Agreed. I want Minnesota to win but I just don't think their offense is going to be consistent enough to win 4 of 7 games vs OKC.
  2. Murray has 4 years and over $200 million left on his deal. Getting out from under that deal will be difficult if not impossible.
  3. If her teammates could make a fucking layup she'd have about 15 or 20 assists right now.
  4. The gap between Clark and the 2nd best player on the court is ginormous. And it's hilarious how ESPN and the WNBA are continuing to try to convince viewers "hey we have other players worth paying attention to as well"
  5. Bumping myself once again. The #1 3 pt shooting team in the league during the regular season is shooting about 20% this series. Ditto Garland/Mitchell and that's the story (oh yeah and the injuries too).
  6. With salaries + tax, the Celtics will be paying out about $500 million next season. https://www.capsheets.com/boston-celtics-cap-sheet/
  7. The dreaded non-contact injury. I don't think this is a Paul Pierce situation and the Celtics are cooked.
  8. Some crazy comments here from Flagg.
  9. That's a bit of a stretch, considering they just won 50 games. Further, it's obviously way early, but right now it looks like the 2027 NBA draft is going to be underwhelming and akin to 2024.
  10. Like who and when? The only unprotected pick I can see from a potentially dreadful team is the 2028 Dallas pick, and now that Flagg is on Dallas, that pick may not be that bad..
  11. The thing about the Bucks is that they do not control their first round pick until 2031. So there is no incentive for them to tear down their team to the studs and tank. So any trade for Giannis would need to bring back good young players and picks from bad teams (e.g., getting the ATL picks from the Spurs or the Suns picks from the Rockets).
  12. Maybe the Bucks can turn the Giannis sweepstakes into a bidding war among the Spurs, Rockets, and perhaps OKC as well. If I'm Milwaukee, I'd want Castlel, salary filler, the #2 pick, and the ATL picks from the Spurs. From the Rockets, give me Sengun, Eason, salary filler, the Suns pick this year and the 2027 picks. OKC would need to give me Chet, Wiggins, and the 2028 Dallas pick.
  13. For Charlotte, Washington, Utah, and NOLA, there's always the 2026 draft. And if Dallas is smart, they'll trade AD for what they can, tell Kyrie to forget about 25-26, and tank to get into the lottery again. https://nbadraftroom.com/2026-nba-mock-draft/ Three potential franchise players though Dybantsa is clearly the #1 right now. 1 AJ Dybantsa SF – BYU – HT: 6-9 – WT: 201 – WING: 6-9 – C’25 – BYU lands an elite prospect in Dybantsa, one of the best high school players of the past decade. The big wing can do it all on the court and is one of the favorites to go no.1 in the 2026 NBA Draft. Elite 25 – 2 Darryn Peterson SG – Kansas – HT: 6-5 – WT: 195 – WING: 6-10 1/2 – C’25 – Peterson is a quick, wiry combo guard who can do it all on the court. He excels with the ball in his hands and can get into the lane at will. Plays both ends and attacks the glass well. Has a real chance to rise into the top spot. Elite 25 – 3 Cameron Boozer PF – Duke – HT: 6-9 – WT: 215 – WING: NA – C’25 – Cameron is a truly special prospect and is one of the top prospects in all of high school basketball. He’s incredibly efficient at scoring the rock, making it look easy. Elite 25 Michael Beasley, Jayson Tatum
  14. Poor Utah and Washington - each moved down 4 spots. Just brutal luck.
  15. Just as you hear Boomers talk about where they were when they heard the JFK news, I remember where I was on that May evening in 2003 when the Cavs won the lottery. I remember more details about that night than I do the birth of my kids.
  16. That 2011 pick was crazy - it was actually the Clippers pick that the Cavs got in the Baron Davis deal.
  17. I don't know if Dallas would do this or what their end goal is but I would gut the team - trade AD (if you can) to the worst team offering an protected 2026 pick, tank next season, and then set yourself for another run in the lottery in a loaded 2026 draft (3 potential franchise players available next June - Cam Boozer, AJ Dybantsa, and Darryn Peterson).
  18. Good for Dallas. Can't wait to see Bill Simmons' thoughts - I think the 4 teams he would least like to see win the lottery finished top 4. And Dallas was his #1 team that he didn't want to see win. lol
  19. The scene in the basement with the spores was really well done.
