  1. Couldn't happen to a nicer owner. And Phoenix doesn't control their first round pick until 2031. But at least they have fan favorites Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, Devin Booker, and Jalen Green.
  2. Not sure who would be interested in Jalen Green at his salary but PHX gotta do something.
  3. First impressions of this trade it's pretty damn good (maybe great) for Houston. Green and Brooks are little more than jags and the #10 pick is very unlikely to be a difference-maker for a playoff team. They needed offense and KD provides that and then some despite his advanced age.
  4. Oct 7 - huge strategic blunder? Or hugest strategic blunder?
  5. Sorry losers but this guy wasn't motivated by a cause or politics but rather mental illness. Dude was a nut - another Hinckley or Jared Loughler (sp?).
  6. It's nerves. One of the things I'll never forget about 2016 Game 7 is just how nervous all of the players were in the 4th. The game was stuck at 89-89 from like the 6 or 7 minute mark until the Kyrie 3 - everybody was bricking everything. I suspect the same thing will happen Sunday in a close game.
  7. Absolutely. Just look at the face of Mabrey after cheap-shotting Clark - it's the look of a schoolyard bully who feels they need to teach a lesson. This was done purely out of malice as opposed to coming to the defense of a teammate.
  8. I 100% believe that there is a large contingent of WNBA players (maybe even a majority) that would rather the league go back to where it was a few years ago (when nobody watched or cared) than let CC be the face of the league and MVP. These women are the most cut off nose to spite the face motherfuckers I've seen in quite some time. They absolutely detest CC.
  9. And I'm still not seeing why Clark got a tech (yes I know the Sun were assessed multiple techs, but the question remains - what did Clark do to merit a tech?) A better angle of the cheap shot:
  10. Not sure what Clark did to get a tech here (Suns players got 3 but the one that cheap-shotted Clark to the ground got to stay in the game).
  11. Both JJJ and Ja will be 26 at the start of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if those two are next to go and the team goes for a complete rebuild, tanking next season in the hopes of getting a top three pick in a loaded 2026 draft. Copy what OKC did.
  12. Quoting myself for troof
  13. He's just mad he's named after the biggest traitor in American history.
  14. Hope he's OK. Someone should do a wellness check on him right about now.
  15. I'm old enough to remember thinking this exact same thing. Ah, the blissful naivety of youth...
  16. I think OKC scored like two points in the last three minutes.
  17. Almost 50% from 3 for Indiana. Yet again. Not sure I've ever seen anything like this.
  18. Dan's not going to be happy with this...
  19. Something I hadn't thought about re: Inside the NBA's transition to ESPN was the following - will ESPN have the Inside the NBA guys on post-game? A myriad of entanglements there...
  20. Unless something strange happens, the Knicks will have no choice but to run it back next season.
