  1. True and OKC is certainly the favorite. But the Pacers frenetic, um, pace is so different from the way other teams typically play that there is some wide variance in outcome.
  2. If the Pacers continue to shoot like they've been shooting from 3 since the Cavs series, they got a chance.
  3. Another game where Indiana shoots about 50% from 3.
  4. I think they have to keep Naz - he's still pretty young and you hope this series is just an aberration. The problem for Minny is that they don't have many avenues for improvement outside internal development because of their cap situation and lack of tradeable draft picks.
  5. Will be interesting to see how high Minnesota will go to keep Naz Reid, who will undoubtedly decline his player option this summer. Let Randle walk if he declines the option. I mean, they really can't afford to pay through the nose to keep him, but they also can't afford NOT to either. NAW is also a FA and he's had some moments this playoff. Minnesota really needs Shannon and Dillingham to turn into consistent NBA players. 6. I'm probably an army of one but I didn't mind JVG on the broadcast - I thought he was amusing ("their defense is so bad it's envious of the Maginot Line") and unafraid to criticize. Jackson though was useless and can stay gone.
  7. "Tedious" is the best word I could use to describe the finale.
  8. Good - back in the game.
  9. No Nesmith changes the entire complexion of the series.
  10. Did you hear oxygen and magnesium got together? OMg
  11. The home crowd doing the white-out thing when the away team is wearing white should be considered a human rights violation or war crime.
  12. Watching Nesmith bedevil the Cavs and then the Knicks tonight it's crazy to think that nobody really wanted this guy. Still only 25 years old. On July 9, 2022, Nesmith was traded, alongside Daniel Theis, Malik Fitts, Juwan Morgan, Nik Stauskas and a 2023 first-round pick, to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Malcolm Brogdon.[27]
  13. Just a brilliant close to the game by Kyle - orchestrating the last vote on Shauhin, winning the final immunity challenge, and then making sure Kamila was not in the Final 3 while not pissing her off. A most deserving winner.
  14. Agreed. I want Minnesota to win but I just don't think their offense is going to be consistent enough to win 4 of 7 games vs OKC.
  15. Murray has 4 years and over $200 million left on his deal. Getting out from under that deal will be difficult if not impossible.
  16. If her teammates could make a fucking layup she'd have about 15 or 20 assists right now.
  17. The gap between Clark and the 2nd best player on the court is ginormous. And it's hilarious how ESPN and the WNBA are continuing to try to convince viewers "hey we have other players worth paying attention to as well"
  18. Bumping myself once again. The #1 3 pt shooting team in the league during the regular season is shooting about 20% this series. Ditto Garland/Mitchell and that's the story (oh yeah and the injuries too).
  19. With salaries + tax, the Celtics will be paying out about $500 million next season. https://www.capsheets.com/boston-celtics-cap-sheet/
