  1. Just when I'm starting to think that Houston is the most unlikeable team on the floor, Golden State starts to do Golden State shit (e.g. Butler flopping, Draymond being himself, Curry chewing on his mouthpiece, refs gifting GS phantom calls and so forth).
  2. Jalen Green is Larry Hughes.
  3. THJ, Schroder, and Beasley will be FAs but each of them are pretty replaceable. It's 26-27 when things get pretty expensive for Detroit - Duren will for sure get a big extension and Ivey was playing well before he went down with his injury. If Ivey has a good year in 25-26, he too will get huge $$$. 4. It was 110-105 Detroit with about 3 minutes left, Detroit had the ball and all the momentum and the Knicks were clearly tired and JBB...inexplicably calls a timeout (and I think Cade had a wide open lane at that possession) - and Detroit turned it over on their immediate possession ATO. After that TO, the Knicks outscored the Pistons 11-3 the rest of the game. Classic JBB. He's a guy who can get the team to play hard but he will never, ever, ever, be an elite or championship coach. Just baffling in-game decisions that I saw the last four years and was on display this whole series.
  5. If the Pistons had balls, they'd fire JBB and offer whatever is needed for Michael Malone. With a decent coach, they'd have won this series.
  6. JBB gifting his opponents another free point protesting an obvious foul.
  7. Unsuccessful challenge and then technical foul. Never change, JBB. Never change.
  8. Unsurprisingly, KPJ was supposed to help on defense but couldn't be bothered.
  9. JFC Milwaukee. How does that happen
  10. Bucks doing their best Philly 76er impression during the Brett Brown era.
  11. That KPJ is taking middies early in the shot clock during crunch time in a playoff game will never not be funny. He's such a bonehead. Fortunately, the Bucks are in a good position to win now anyway.
  12. Draymond should have picked up his second tech but the refs are too chickenshit to deal with him and the inevitable tantrum and crowd. Reminds me of Bobby Knight vs LSU when he slammed the phone in the Final Four and should have been tossed but the refs were too scared of him. @Underdog am I remembering that right?
  13. Tyler Herro tonight
  14. This is the kind of game that would really benefit from a confusing JVG tangent.
  15. If it was ever a thing, Heat Culture (tm) died this weekend in South Beach. And the Cavs were the ones to kill it.
  16. This looks like an entirely different sport than just a few weeks ago.
  17. And, miraculously, he gets up and walks off on his own power. These guys are as bad as soccer players with their forced and exaggerated reactions to what turn out to be very minor hurts.
  18. JBB has always been horrible with challenges and this series is just more evidence of what we already knew.
  19. If that was SGA or Tatum or Brunson shooting the refs would’ve blown the whistle before he even got the ball.
  20. In a game decided by one point, this seems important.
  21. Incredibly dumb play by Schroeder there at the end of 3. gave away two points there for no reason
  22. Jalen Green needs to stop worrying about what his opponents say and start worrying about why he plays well every 4th game.
  23. Back in the 80s, when the NBA was on CBS, the main color guy was Tommy Heinsohn. Yes, former Celtic player and coach Tommy Heinsohn. He was as homerific as it gets and wouldn't even try to hide it. It was unlistenable (unless you were a Celtics fan who couldn't get enough of him and Stockton slobbering all over Bird & McHale).
