Not only did WVU win, they did it with only 5 available players after their entire bench was ejected near the end of the first half. goddamn

There has only been one kick he “choked”, but we still ended up winning that game (MSST). He also literally won us a game with his kick (Kentucky).
After the Bert years, I’m not complaining.
Barring an unexpected collapse by Nebraska, everyone else in the field has a runner-up ceiling this year. With that in mind, I’m fine with Elliot experimenting to learn as much as possible about his roster’s capabilities as long as it helps solidify what type of players he needs to grab in the portal for us to make a run next season. We need blocking. We need servers.
Chavez made 7 out of 10 of her 3 point attempts tonight. I assume she was wide open on most of those attempts, but shit if Texas could make 70% of their FTs this season I would take it.
Vanderbilt won the SEC championship and earned a #1 seed in the NCAAs, yet we somehow beat them in the regular season. We had the talent to beat really good teams, but Ange did a horrible coaching job. Our season opening loss to the southland team was so embarrassing and she should have been fired for that alone
I think the fact we have 2 top 5 opponents left compared to one borderline top 25 opponent left for Notre dame, if we win 2 out of the next 3 we should jump ahead of Notre dame if they win 2 of their next 3
I think we need Notre Dame to lose to Pitt on Saturday for a 9-3 Texas team to have a real shot at making the playoffs. I don't think 7-2 Notre Dame with their cupcake schedule deserves to be ahead of 7-2 Texas, but the committee loves the domers enough to keep them ahead of us. If we lose to either UGA or aggy, we need Notre Dame to take a loss as well and maybe the committee will edge us ahead of them as the superior 9-3 team.
The 20 year old Mississippian who shouted antisemetic comments to Portnoy was booked in jail that day. I'm not sure it was for the antisemetic comments or the coins he threw at him which could constitute as assault, but I'm actually leaning towards the latter.
In-State teams that made the field of 64. Seeding in parenthesis.
(#5) Baylor
Texas State
(#2) TCU
(#6) Texas Tech
UTSA
Houston Christian
Maybe our next coach is coaching one of these teams
Aggy's best win is probably Notre Dame. Texas gets flack for having a weak SEC schedule but I would argue aggy's is worse. Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss are the SEC's best teams and they aren't playing any of them. Texas at least plays 1 of those 3
