  1. Now 1k away from ATH. It definitely feels like a different market now. Less big pumps and dumps. This presentation from a few days back goes into the on chain data to explain why. It’s a good listen. https://app.livestorm.co/unchained/online-event-bitcoin-has-crossed-the-rubicon/live?s=f64bc278-34f1-4b3e-9f0e-ad9d4c6ba8f6#/ Big flows in, and a lot of old sellers, but they’re being digested. IBIT and its options playing big role in volatility dampening. But this guy theorizes big moves still in store when spot market moves prices substantially over a weekend or holiday and then institutions and hedgers are offsides and have to correct.
  2. I read with astonishment the words of the Flotilla that accuses me of considering “a danger” unarmed civilians and ships loaded with aid. The truth is simple: those aids can be delivered without risks through the safe channels already set up. Insisting on wanting to force a naval blockade means making oneself—knowingly or not—instruments of those who want to blow up every possibility of a ceasefire. Therefore, spare us the lessons in morality on peace if your goal is escalation. And do not exploit the civilian population of Gaza if you are not truly interested in their fate.
  3. Found it uncut
  4. I've always been fascinated with their peak and the lifestyle at the time. Keith’ autobiography is a must read. From that time period I've watched Gimme Shelter multiple times. The scene where they're listening to a cut of Wild Horses in a studio in Muscle Shoals AL is just awesome. So cool to see the artists as they're creating classics. I like Charlie’s smirk. Seems to realize oh shit that's good. Another good one. This one is cut off, but Mick Taylor sounds great here. Dead Flowers. One of the best country songs ever.
  5. For all his flaws his out of control ego and narcissism kind of helps him here. Almost everyone else thinks the problem is too big. How can you possibly get to a solution? He thinks he can figure it out. He wants to be the guy known for figuring it out and he wants the accolades too. He is indefatigable. If you really think it's a genocide you should be applauding concerted efforts to stop it. You don't. I didn't concede anything btw. All these countries are familiar with all the history and have internet access. They may even have more information than you, believe it or not. And they'd like to proceed. So stay mad about progress towards peace, I guess.
  6. Sharing news of a proposed peace plan in the news thread = racism. Got it. That word has no value anymore. Well, Brian Fantana of Surly Horns, you should jump on your best phone and let the leaders of all these countries of these reasons why they shouldn't be wasting their time with this. You should educate them. They have no skin in the game and haven't considered everything.
  7. This is interesting. The plan is also endorsed by the Palestinian Authority. So, pretty much everyone besides Hamas and Iran. You'd think the people wailing about “genocide” would be welcoming a stop to all of this. I can’t believe this thread went quiet. Fascinating. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/9/29/trumps-gaza-peace-plan-welcomed-by-arab-and-islamic-countries-the-west
  8. Tried this for the first time today. Lunch with wife. Very unassuming location. Weird part of town for a nice place. From outside, we wondered why it was recommended. But it was excellent. Homemade pasta. Did the Italian sodas. Will definitely go back for dinner. They also had a deli a couple doors down that I'm sure is good as well.
  9. This seems very noteworthy. Several Arab states co-sign, including Qatar.
  10. This was the one detail I was most interested in. Could they locate him in Texas in another way besides the DNA showing up? Family also said he would travel often for work. Weeks at a time. That's when he would pull off these crimes. Just a random monster cruising the country. Very sad.
  11. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/episode-74-an-interview-with-a-social-engineering-hacker/id1252797437?i=1000666011241 Here's an impromptu interview with a hacker. Crypto focused, but gives you an idea of the mindset and how they get it done.
  12. These attempts are very common in crypto land. I get calls all the time that say they're from google. I never answer because "google" will never call you. They get people to reset their email passwords and once they're in they go ham draining everything they can.
  13. Not much happening. Market going sideways. got my bitaxe miner set up. Not mining to pool. Just doing for fun, looking to hit lotto on solo miner. It’s very small. Cool little fan set up for cooling. Then a nice UI for checking up on how it’s running. I’m just going normal speed. Not over clocking it.
