  1. that's quite possibly the grossest shit in college football. I mean it's flat out disgusting. and anyone who thinks this university a 100 miles east of us has any normality and is a school with a fringe element, this shit has gone to the top, go read the Bonfire Report which is an investigative post mortem on the bonefire collapse and it is a scathing indictment of the institution at a level only Baylor has exceeded.
  2. there is an argument that the SEC is an auto-five bid league. if that is the case Michigan, OU or Bama and we are in. but that's a very transparent rise from 16 to 10 with the ole swap-a-roo regardless of Vandy, Miami, BYU, etc. but it has logic behind it.
  3. OCC match ups, SEC won't get 6 (deserves 7), conf championship games are a wildcard (don't want to disincentivize them (yet), so Texas is in a bit of a pinch. so even with the argument for OCC match ups, Texas loses on the following two motivations, so mayhem is required. there is the "list of games" to watch, but what is most likely, therefore the real games to watch... 11:00 am Ohio State to beat #15 Michigan Pitt to beat #12 Miami Noon UCF to beat #11 BYU 2:30 pm replace with Tech beats BYU in the Big 12 title game LSU to beat #8 Oklahoma Not happening Tennessee to beat #14 Vanderbilt 6:30 pm Auburn to beat #10 Alabama 9:30 pm Stanford to beat #9 Notre Dame not happening Mandatory losers needed: Michigan, Vandy, Miami, Bama, and BYU (this week or next). We are dead in the water without those five. We will jump Utah. We are at 12 with realistic outcomes today (jump Utah), Vandy and Michigan lose. So taking the odds of what should happen, it's Miami, BYU and Alabama that shouldn't lose but we need them to.
  4. you need dogs on your team that know the rivalry games are for legends. He's a rival killer. OU and A&M.
  5. These two motivations plus encouraging strong OCC are going to work against each other. Let’s hope for mayhem and make the decision harder. last night Texas finally played a complete game, there was only 7 mins where A&M had the momentum. Texas is giving the committee a headache. I think Texas is probably out absent some real mayhem but at least the conversation has to be had now. If you want conference parity in the number of bids then the playoffs need to be 16 because there are 6-7 legit SEC teams that have a claim to be in the 12 team field.
  6. I woke up late, thank god for near adult children and no young ones anymore, I rolled over and smiled bigly. It’s good to be 3-0 over your rivals, it’s especially good to wake up the morning after manhandling those goobers.
  7. I have a young analyst (finance degree for A&M) working for me, we have a 9:30am Monday morning meeting to go over a deal. I’m looking forward to it.
  8. There are a ton of motivations here it’s going to be interesting. Leave Texas out to spur a 16 team playoff, no way there are 6 SEC teams, as of today I think Texas is the seventh highest ranked SEC team wow, conference championship losers being left out what does that mean for those games, OCC scheduling with Texas. This year is a bit of a mess.
  9. Did someone really say maybe we don’t want in the playoffs, I coulda swore I read that but surely not?
  10. Shorten the season, start a week later, 2 cupcakes then get into conference. 11 games. Tell the networks to fuck off or let us in. Throw the weight around. Fuck OU.
  11. And kneeling the ball to end the game. We should jump a few and still need help but yeah the horns did what was absolutely needed to have a chance. Good.
  12. We haven’t that’s why Texas dropped out of the top 25 after Fla.
  13. There are a couple of factors that have to be considered and the committees decision will impact behavior. Leaving Texas out will have a chilling effect on marquee matchups in OCC, leaving out a team that loses a conference championship game will diminish the importance of those games, bumping a 1 or 2 loss Big 12 or ACC second bid will further push the sport to big 10, SEC and ND. We’ll see how the cards fall but at least Texas FINALLY passes the eye test because when the dust settles I think that was the biggest criticism of this team.
  14. Like I said on the game thread, the 4-5 best plays in the first half were run plays, Wisner specifically and some scrambles. Sark kept going to the screen and short passing game and it was shit. He came out in the second half and ran the fucking ball. He took what they gave him and his team responded and smashed those goobers in the mouth. I’ve ridden his ass all year and I’m still not sure but tonight he balled out like we needed him too. serious respect sark. You earned it tonight.
  15. That’s historically the only real measure of course you best them you’re probably pretty good and playing for hardware too.
  16. Arch played a helluva game, but it wasn’t looking great in the first half. His fault, sark’s fault, doesn’t matter. Arch was a fucking champ, but it was the second half that made it. It’s okay to see that.
  17. Haha, something like that. We all knew this could happen. We all knew Texas coulda shit the bed too. I’ll give sark some real credit. The best 2-3 plays in the first half were Wisner. And he went back to that and then some. It was so great to see him not over think it too much. Take what they give. He did and Texas punked those goobers.
  18. Like last year. Some Texas boys get it and fucking hate aggy.
  19. He somehow does seem to understand the importance of those games in a way Mack never did. I’ve never hear him suck aggy cock like Mack and OU doesn’t scare him.
  20. Was that you? I knew the my could the question was whether sark would run the ball straight up their asses and he did. FOR ONCE, he didn’t step on his dick.
  21. Sark I’ve been all over your ass this year. Second half you balled out.
  22. This is exactly what we needed, a two score win and kneeling to end the game.
  23. Congrats to Texas, first half was tight but they played physical and except for one A&M drive in the first half Texas out played them and owned the LOS.
  24. There’s a strong chance they finish the season 0-2 and their magical season is no trophy, no win over Texas and one and done in the playoffs. If that’s their best season in over 30 years I’m ok.
