We do to some degree.  My middle school child had interest and compound interest taught in a math class with a finance context included.

Good thing they've already had that class.  After all the shit the Legislature is going to do to public schools in the fall, the only math kids are going to learn is how to calculate how many cows and bushels of corn need to be in the dowry to buy Chadlynne as a teenage bride. Bless Jebus.

    8.  Porn.  During their formative years, young boys are going down the wormhole of porn and as a result, don't know how to talk to an actual girl and end up as incels.

Some teacher friends have said they have 3rd and 4th grade boys that constantly brag about watching porn.

That being said, some of what the left embraces fiscally ain’t real big in the win column for them.  Makes me wonder what their choices will be in 2028.

Oh, please do tell what those things are compared to what Dotard has already shown us fiscally from 2016-2020 and has stated for 2025 onward such as crashing the economy to rebuild it.

  4. csb I was in trial yesterday and looked down to notice I was wearing navy socks with my gray suit and black shoes.
I need better lighting in my bedroom.

At least you were found not guilty in spite of the fashion faux pas.

Yep.  And that combo of assholes gives us a nice opportunity to point out how both extremes (left and right) have worked together to fuck housing supply.

But in Trumpland....what is the answer to why our housing supply is fucked?   OBVIOUSLY, the problem is housepainters and roofers named Jorge taking up all of our housing supply.

To be fair, housing supply is gonna really open up when hundreds of thousands of foreclosures hit the market after Dotard and Elon intentionally crash the economy.

So have the betting sites placed odds on Trump making it to inauguration day yet?

Say, he does keel over before inauguration.  What happens then?  Does it go to the second place finisher? Is it a split ticket with Harris as President and Eye Liner Incel as the VP?

I did it! Just had a great conversation with Lindsey. She's down for a backyard concert. They are releasing an album next year and will be touring in the summer so it'll line up perfectly.
Turns out we have a lot of common connections both here in Portland and in Austin.

Trying to get Jack White tickets for the Mohawk show. Shit's borked.

Tried for 30 minutes.  I was able to put tickets in the cart multiple times and it failed every time until the last time when it finally said there were no tickets left.

  9. It doesn't fucking matter any longer.  If Trump doesn't get his way, he can easily expand the court to 13 and appoint 4 more judges.  That play is always fair game for anyone willing to do it.

  10. THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS THE ECONOMY.

The average American’s only insight into the economy is their buying power. All they see are high interest rates making homes and cars unattainable and inflation killing their household budgets. They don’t have investments to reap the gains of the “real” economy.

Focus solely on the economy and you win. The average American does not give two shits about any other issue enough to get them to the polls.

Hell, you don’t have to even do anything as long as you’re not the incumbent during high interest rates and inflation. An incumbent is never getting reelected in that situation.

  11. I've lost almost 500 followers on X since the election. On the other hand, I've gained about 140 on Threads and 45-50 on Blue Sky, so it's not a total loss.

Our social media will become even more bifurcated, I'm thinking.

Threads is gaining a huge number of new followers every day. Zuckerburg indicated roughly one million per day in his conference call. Now up to 275 million.  I wish it would gain some of X's functionality.

And Zuck was the first to cuck to Trump and kiss the ring after the election as called. Threads will probably go the direction of Twitter but the change will be subtle.
