Since 2012, if you're an ambitious north Dallas suburb, you build a palace of a high school football stadium. And that's exactly what the up-and-coming north Dallas suburbs of Prosper and Celina have done, just like their neighbors Allen, Frisco and McKinney.

For the 2019 season, the Prosper Independent School District (ISD) is opening a $57 million, 12,000-seat stadium for the Prosper High Eagles, and Celina ISD is premiering a $24.5 million, 10,000-seat stadium and football complex for the Celina High Bobcats. They are the sort of facilities that most colleges wish they had.
