Yeah, that's a strange story to me.  As it was, their abortion law was already very strict with restrictions on everything but fetal deformity, rape/incest, and health of the mother.  The new law was to remove the fetal deformity exception.  So in effect, I don't see what would really change.

Obviously I can see that people think abortion should be legal versus having to go abroad or underground...but this law doesn't change the status quo in that regard.  I guess seeing the law going in the opposite direction has motivated people to protest.
