  1. I'd take a dark side girl over a light side any day of the week.
  2. take another drink and sit this one out....we ain't playing our best...
  3. I'll admit, after a few years post-Endgame, my life has been too busy to get amped up for each new installment. and dude, I looove Marvel. To me, they're taking everything too slowly, and they don't stay focused enough to develop much. It's like they're giving alot of the old timers extended swan songs. Which is wasteful. I still feel if they went the cosmic route and pushed the Annihilation arc, opened up the negative zone to introduce the fantastic 4, surprise with Ultron, resurrect Thanos, oh man... Or take post Spiderverse intro to bring in mutants, that would have worked too. But unfortunately, it's been a disorganized mess since Endgame.
  4. Seems like Ewars was throwing off his back foot. Maybe that's just me....
  5. so we're only losing to tcu.....no big deal.....
  6. and why not?
  7. what is that grill? My googling skills are failing me.
  8. It's all carbon, perfectly harmless, the building block of life....or the combustible byproduct of life. I forget which.

  10. This is where I'm at. ou losing has changed the decision tree. We command our destiny. Give Maalik another chance. If it goes sideways, don't flinch, out in Ewars to get the game back on track. But keep the gameplan run-centric so tcubwill be out of gas by the 4th. We have a stable full of guys and a line that should work the cockroaches over.
  11. My son is a freshman, he is in Jester right now. We live in SW Austin. I was adamant about him living on campus for his Freshman year. It's up to him to find an apartment just off-campus next year. Otherwise, back in the dorm you go. Do not short change them living on their own. It forces them to solve more of their problems on their own. Plus, he's literally 15min from his classes. Don't let MOPAC or I35 become a risk to them missing a class. We've seen him about 2-3 times a month depending on things. Mostly been driven by his band activities, cuz all his band mates are elsewhere. Wouldn't change it for the world so far.
  12. I bet you cut'n pasted this from last year's Ewars thread....
  13. Agreed. Get yer money and ride the pine.
  14. I'll be shocked of Ewars goes to the NFL next year. But that's for another thread.
  15. I'm sorry, are we talking about Maalik or Ewars here?
  16. You mean like when the previous shithead-in-chief gassed protesters so he could have a photo op of him holding a Bible upside down?
  17. we ate their QB alive. He later got benched. But he's learning, and Saban is showing some patience in allowing him to progress throughout the year .
  18. The good thing with this, the voters will have an understanding that our shitty wins were due to an inexperienced quarterback. So as along as we continue to win until Ewars is 100% healthy, we shouldn't lose any ground in rankings. Maalik needs to tighten up his decision making, and learn to apply amnesia after every setback. The next 3 teams are trash, but each of them have upset us in years past. We are in the spot we wanted to be in. Bitching about our backup QB, instead of bitching about how our backup QB hasn't gotten any play time (which has always screwed us down the road). Keep the focusness. Ewars is fragile, this is concerning. Do we want to risk another injury before the conf championship game? How would that look? Another bad hit against another trash school would kill this season. If we can continue to invest time and learning into Maalik, not burn Arch's shirt, and continue to win, great for us. This has to be Sark's long game.
  19. You just keep doubling down....
  20. Ok, this wildcat ain't working. Please rip it up and go back to the drawing board.
