So we're just trying to replicate the 'Shoe now?!
And make it a completely distinct, architecturally different section? Our stadium will look like Frankenstein's monster.
If we're going to just rip off an OSU, rip off the other OSU and make it more like Boone Pickens with a big ole screen in the middle and mostly luxury seats / coaches offices. We can't sell the thing out anyhow so why even add bench seats? Sitting in the south endzone sucks a big one. Let the richies sit there in luxury watching the TV broadcast and occasionally peer down on the field like they currently do?
Get rid of that horrible tinker toy architecture and keep to brick facade that is the east side and north endzone.

Nebraska has an equally shitty end zone configuration. Looks to me like the Owner isn't listening to the architect. Or the architect isn't very good. Very sad if this is the best they can come up with. It annoys me how they've plastered things "everybody likes" onto that rendering as if it could distract you from the fact that the design took 30-45 minutes to come up with.
I'm with Texifornia on this: why don't we have a Clock End or a Spion Kop. Also, terracing has proven to be a bad idea.

Well, it's not like UNC has a history of bad behavior.

Really looking forward to the season.

Would you consider a used mattress? (I would say "no CR" but it's pretty CR. But I'm just joking around).

Thanks for the link.
Interesting fun fact: use search word "sirius" and you get nothing. Search "siriusxm" and the other threat turns up. (angryaggyface)

Poor Alabama and Jalen Hurts. I hope it works out for both of these downtrodden, unrecognized, unpraised, and unlucky entities. I’m really cheering for both sides to have a happy ending.
Or a ball gargling, at least?

I've presented to city councils before on very defined matters and had significantly less time and leeway on my comments than that guy.

This morning I started wondering of maybe he'd keep his job, but not now. That tweet was to stoke his own ego and/or play for his buyout. I'm starting to think Urban Meyer is kind of a jackass. Am I the only one?

Vic Mackey special getting married at each commercial break hasn't exactly helped matters.
On a serious note, why can't they show old UT games 24/7? I'm not talking about the Rose Bowl, OU, Arky, or aggy games... just random stuff like the "75 Tech game or something. Or '92 TX v Utah bball game? Just random stuff. I'd watch this before I'd watch
9/27/1975 vs. *Texas Tech (6-5) W 42 18 Allow Bullneck to help out. That's as good as it's going to get. Pictures at 11.

1. They show like 1 football game a year.
2. They have a douchy announcer whose last name starts with a G.

Good on Swoopes. He was a good Longhorn. He did absolutely everything asked of him to the best of his abilities with varying results.
That second overtime against Notre Dame was among of the best times I have have had watching the Horns in the last five years.

On July 29, 1867—151 years ago today--Fort Griffin was established on the right bank of the Clear Fork of the Brazos in what’s now Shackleford County as one of a line of defensive frontier forts built from 1867 to 1881 to protect settlers, travelers, buffalo hunters and cowboys during the Texas Indian wars.

Your grandfather was born in 1868? That's some John Tyler level shit.

Call me crazy but it always struck me as odd that the work-related punishment for committing a crime should be bigger news that the law enforcement punishment.

They may, but they be finding a whole Army of War historians themselves who say that Vicksburg may be up there is the most effective single battle ever. The only other comparison I've heard is the Trenton 1776 battle, or Cowpens and Daniel Morgan.
Of course all that could be argued, but military historians say that the effectiveness and overall strategy of Vicksburg was on the par of very few other battles in American history. I agree. This also cover Sherman's brilliant defeating of facing Johnston head-on, forcing him to surrender eventually.
Although Patton's battles were epic brilliant, could be argued that he certainly help shorten the war, but by that time the outcome had been pretty much decided. The Civil War was completely up in the air until Vicksburg.
Sam Houston is holding on line one.
