  1. Big shout out to Orlando for all the good shit he did here.

And big shout out to him getting terminated for all the bad shit he did here.

    Best of luck, Todd.

  2. Urban is the only person guaranteed to succeed, and make a run at the conference title and the playoffs in year one. And after 10 years of mediocrity, we need guaranteed success.

If we retain Herman or hire Fleck, we’re only crossing our fingers.

  3. 1 hour ago, Liquor and Poker said:

He's not even close to as bad as Charlie.

But he's still nowhere near good enough.

This. Asking this question, and not only not having it shot down immediately but some of your supporting responses, shows some of y’all are too mad to think straight. Charlie oversaw a Chernobyl type situation.

Doesn’t get Tom off the hook, but there is no comparison between the two.

  4. I’m all for the passion exhibited regarding most of this, but if Tom wants To keep Todd (god knows why I’m just being hypothetical) and has compelling reasons as the HC, I doubt CDC would think himself to know more than the HC on the subject.

If Herman refuses to change DCs, and it doesn’t work out, doesn’t forcing Tom to change coaches just band-aid the issue? Forever having to do the HCs job for him would make you a shitty AD IMO.

Let him fail and then fire him, and go hire a coach who will succeed. Or allow him to steer his ship to safety and come off looking like you had wonderful foresight. ADs should foster successful environments for, or hire badass HCs, not provide crutches to reigning underachievers who you think can’t even assemble a competent staff.

  5. CDC hasn’t run a football team in his life but some of y’all want to give him operational control of the football team... yalls short sighted reactions in your football-based anger would be funnier if you ever realized how absurd they are and let them go. But in their longevity, it’s more sad than funny.

  6. a sequel to the 1992 blockbuster Passenger 57 starring Wesley Snipes called Passenger 69 where it’s basically the same movie except for commercial space flight.

ROI guaranteed by brilliance of idea, not by actual guarantees.

  7. the development of a test for children in utero where instead of telling you whether or not the kid has genetic defects or other telltale fetal information, it’s to let you know that your child would eventually attend Oklahoma and then you can go ahead and abort.
