  1. From the Chronicle:

Free agency: Fourteen players will become unrestricted free agents in March, including linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, cornerback Kareem Jackson, safety Tyrann Mathieu.

Contracts: The Texans are projected to have about $68 million in salary cap space. Their top priorities are re-signing the three aforementioned free agents.

The draft: After not having their first- and second-round picks in last year's draft, general manager Brian Gaine has a first-round choice, two in the second and the rest of his selections.

Obviously, we need to address the Oline and the secondary. But we have the picks and the cap space to do it. Hopefully our new GM doesn’t suck.

Naw he will get Watson injured badly with all that scrambling and designed QB runs.

Sucks when a good guy gets drafted to a shit franchise. Watt, Hopkins, and Watsons are all screwed.

Cowboys fans are so weird about the Texans... I do not get it.

  3. Both games this year decided by a field goal. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Our unwillingness to cover TY Hilton despite him constantly beating us single-handedly is unsettling. But with Watson, I'm as optimistic for this team as I've ever been. We probably have more actual confidence on this team than I've ever seen (not to be confused with fake 'letter jacket confidence'). Sending Indy home would be sweet.

  4. Bring on Indy, I would love to send them home. And if we lose then we don’t have to get prison raped by the Pats again. (/Little Bitch)

So, to the playoffs with as solid an offense as we’ve probably ever had, and then a really interesting offseason with a lot of cap room and a new GM who is more competent than our recent GM, who was generally incompetent. About as much as this team has given us to get excited about in their history.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe what was considered the "best available option" was either Charlie or James Franklin from Vanderbilt.

Pretty sure we chose Strong over Petersen *sad trombone*

Didn’t Baylor do something like this recently too?

Look... Just because something is not a lie does not mean that it is not deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one that speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction.

No way. You get someone else to tell people bad news. He gone.

Agreed. She is very friendly with the staff, so that makes it easier for the news to be delivered, and he doesn’t have to give bad news, which everyone hates to do. I honestly never thought we were going to pull this kid out of California - USCs a good draw even when down, it’s his home state school, we’re not elite at the moment, and he stays close to family - usually a dominant set of circumstances for recruits decision making. Still like that we went after him.

What is the '3rd party report' they are all referring to?

The one where they hired that outside firm to acknowledge the rape culture epidemic they had but were unwilling to come to grips with even though the rest of the county had accepted it years before.
