  1. 2008. Down 14-3, felt like we were fucked. Once kick returns are done away with altogether, I’ll forever remind people how they used to change the game. Shipley & Quan may have been our best WR tandem ever.

At the end of the game, up 10, I was still on the edge of the bleacher. Realized after some thought and scoreboard examination that we had it, they couldn’t come back. Sweet feeling.

  2. Reading what guys who broke color barriers goes through makes me angry.

But what courage and bravery and resilience in the face of such terrible shit.

Takes a badass to do it, takes a titan to do it with grace.

RIP to a fine example to all men everywhere.

    Hook em

  3. “I can understand the comparisons between A&M’s QB prospect and Vince Young, with the exception he’s much better than Vince Young”

  4. For anyone concerned over Watson getting carries late as opposed to Ingram (who is clearly the better back IMO), go watch highlights to see how Oregon’s RB coughed up the game. Sick for that kid... and super proud of Watson for literally sitting down inbounds in that first down he got on that final scoring drive.

Has CDC gone into previous programs (obviously not TCU) and implemented a coaching change fairly quickly?

I don’t know what you are referring to as far as “quickly“ but he did force Patterson to change the offense to the one run by Cumbie.

Dude, we're not getting anyone if the season plays out like I expect. This will be 2017 all over again, but instead of everyone going to Ohio State, they're all gonna go to Aggy. Face it. We're fucked.

    Stop being such a pussy

That Liucci report is one of the most hilarious, and surreal, things I've read in a while. The echo chamber that those people are in has to be something to behold. The sheer audacity of claiming that every single player is really emerging; that the walk-on fullback, who's never played the role before, is an NFL talent; and that Vernon Jackson, of whom recent footage exists of his running back "skills", is a developing threat in the backfield, is fucking jaw dropping.

I’ll say this of Sumlin - his scheme produces points, which is the best way to avoid tragedies in football. Sumlin took lesser teams and was able to sneak by Arky and Ole Miss etc. by producing points via scheme and coaching, but didn’t have enough talent to be a real threat every week.

If Jimbo’s slow-and-low offense is unable to magic-trick some TDs onto the board this year, there is going to be major shock factor related to game outcomes, moreso now with this off-season hype campaign than ever. Should be glorious.
