  1. Injuries are why you get beat 10-3 not why you lose games by one run 3 nights in a row.
  2. Rangers did their job. We spit the bit again.
  3. I couldn’t watch so I’m not sure that’s a plus or minus but it sounds like bullshit. Fire Dusty.
  4. Wrong thread. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  5. Old time National League run right there. Let’s hope they remember that the next time we are in extra innings.
  6. Damn! I was gonna stay offline this weekend but these beers and that HR made me come see if what I saw was real! It wasn’t my lying eyes!
  7. Screw it. No sense being Debbie Downers. Let’s sweep Cleveland, let the Rays sweep Texas and things will look a lot better on Monday morning! Have a good weekend! It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
  8. True. Youre right. I get it. I didn’t mean none should be on the team and if we had a legit LF (and I don’t mean Yordan) and Chas in center, Tucker in right, that would be fine. I think Chas should be the guy. I’ve always liked the energy he brings. But Meyers and Julks do just enough that Dusty sits him 3 days a week. Rolling out all three in some sort of rotation hurts them all. And putting 2 or 3 out there at a time isn’t optimal. Trade for an everyday LF and put Chas in center and let’s roll. And it’s all kind of mute with the gaping, stink hole at first.
  9. I feel about our outfielders the way I feel about quarterbacks. If you don’t know who’s first they are all last. This rotation system of nobody knowing who’s gonna be in the lineup benefits no one. But the fact is none are good enough to be everyday starters on a first place team. They are the kind of guys that play on 4th place teams and have a good game one out of series and win one game out of series and that we used to sweep or win two out of three consistently. Now we’re the ones getting beat two out of three with those kind of guys. Depending on the day our pitching is first in the league. Getting beat 3-2 day after day isn’t something good teams do. We need a legitimate starting OF with a MLB bat in either left or center and Yordan at DH and Diaz at catcher. That’s been my opinion since April 1 and I ain’t changing it lol. We’re just pissing in the wind as it is now.
  10. So do we call Salazar back and make Diaz the DH? That pretty much assures the C spot will be a black hole in the order. Call up another OF? Not sure who but when Diaz does catch it would allow for theoretically a better lineup. Can’t replace Yordan so we need all 9 spots have a legitimate chance to get a hit. To the extent we can say anyone on the roster has a chance lately, Diaz at catcher and whatever else they come up with is the best lineup.
  11. Nice job slappy. Been watching Dubon.
  12. Blaming this loss on anything besides a bullshit lineup and even shittier hitting is just grasping at straws. This was a winnable game. They just step on their dicks at the plate.
  13. Julks if nothing else is becoming a trade piece.
  14. I miss George but I’m starting to resent him hitting home runs against us. His lack of loyalty is perturbing.
  15. Julks smash 💥
  16. Damnit! Did no one get the memo we stop at 9?
  17. Abreu had two rubber bands in the beard. Mystery solved. Grow that bitch. Never go back to one rubber band.
  18. That slide into the dugout was pretty awesome. Good for him. Hopefully that huge monkey is off his back. Dos Joses rule!
  19. Bregman being on third saved Abreu from another statistically shitty at bat.
  20. 10-42. Seems legit
  21. The good news is with the pitch clock I only wasted 2 hours of my day instead of 3+.
  22. Keep the faith. Can’t win 100 if you don’t lose 62. Right on track.
  23. This was worse than working.
