  1. He didn't. He did! 🤘 Best part was seeing the reaction from the bench and wanting the ball for him. It wasn't thrown in and the next batter fouled it off into the stands. A team manager went and exchange another for it and he took it back to the locker room and they for sure gave it to him after the game. He hit one really hard and far (opposite field onto Comal) today. 🤘
  2. Usually I try to get to ballpark about an hr ahead of time (too cheap to pay for parking unless it's Regionals or Super) to find a place to park, and as I walking up from the Tennis center area today, there was much more blue than orange at the Occupy LF tailgate. They not only had the regular beer flowing but a couple of grills for food. Friends and families of the players were treated well and taken care of. And I agree, it would be cool to schedule the different academy teams here. 2009 Regionals against Army was just as cool as today or last year's games against AF.
  3. Yes. They stood behind the team (like they did last year) with their hats off during the Eyes. Prior to that during the handshakes, after a big hug to Daly, you could see Kaz reaching into his back pocket and give him what was most likely an Academy or other Air Force Challenge coin. (in case you didn't remember or know, Daly's Dad is a 4 star general in the Army and his mom played volleyball @ West Point) The crowd also gave AF a huge ovation and chants of USA, USA. A number of UT players were on the AF side after conversing with the AF players and family members. It's too bad we don't play them every year.
  4. #2 on BL's suspect list. Just gotta get that @atomheartbevo guy outta the way and I think that will make me numero uno...
  5. I kinda figured as much, but then there may be some on here that might not have been aware of that. Wanna take out you mean old aunt? Just double/triple up her dose of her blood thinner....
  6. They are literally dying (or feeling that they are) of thirst. Rat poison (older versions anyway) were nothing more than a concentrated high dose of the blood thinner Warfarin. Their blood is leaking out (third spacing) and because of the hypovolemia, they are going into shock, which is causing them dehydration and feeling of thirst. That's why you found them in your pool. Same thing has happened on the battlefield for thousands of years. Wounded, bleeding out and screaming for water, they were doing this because of their body's reaction from the shock of exsanguination.
  7. CSB/ (?) Many moons ago when I was in the service, I got stationed in the PNW south of Seattle. The Green River Killer was busy at that time stalking prostitutes just south of SEATAC and dumping their bodies east in the Green River. One of my NCO's was going through a nasty divorce and his soon to be ex decided to report him to the task force handling the cases. He had nothing to do with it, but still had to spend more than one uncomfortable day(s) talking with detectives and explaining his whereabouts.
  8. Yeah.....don't do that. People on FB (and many here) don't speak OR understand sarcasm.
  9. "Open a bar they said, it'll be fun..." All these bodies bad for business, huh?
  10. Medic 17 ?? The one down on Town (Lady Bird/ SK ) Lake....? Hmmmmmm. I think you might be added to BL's list 😬
  11. Anectine (succinylcholine) needs to be done via IV for it to be fast acting (within 1 minute or so for adults). It can also be done IM (intra muscular) but the onset of action takes longer and you'd have to give up to 3-4 mg per Kg (up to 150 mg) of the patient's (victim's) weight and it would still take 2-3 minutes, maybe longer for it to take effect. Not trying to be a smartass but...."Dude, How much you weigh? In kilograms please..." Doubt there wouldn't be signs of struggle after also being poked with a needle. Unless of course they are all consenting to sharing needles for a drug fix. It's not a scheduled controlled medicine, but it's also not available OTC at HEB. Gonna have to be a Dexter, medical field, or similar if someone is/are using suxx on the unsuspecting.
  12. If you read my post, I said he's not needed there with an insurance run or two. I know I'm not the only one here ( it was posted multiple x's throughout today's game) that his offensive production this year (9 RBIs in a 100 PA) is pretty abysmal (and I like the kid). But in that situation, we needed runs and not another DP (which he hit into). I's also a mute point needing him for the 9th for his defense when your closer doesn't throw strikes and walks the opposing hitters.
  13. Couple of insurance runs in T9 and we don't need the starting SS there. I think he should have been pinched hit (just needed a fly ball there) to score at least one instead of his DP to end the inning (again). Dude is slow as shit and that is why he has no range. There are plenty of other issues with GIVING AWAY this game, but he is becoming a liability (or already is) at the plate.
  14. He's like this consistently. Which = NOT the closer. Pierce fucked up the bottom of the 9th. Keep Charley until there is a problem. And put the leading hitter on 1st when it is OPEN. What was he playing there for? A strikeout is only thing that you are hoping for there. ANY ball in play has to come to the plate. Any little league manager/coach puts the hitter on 1st. Just dumb.
  15. I said the same thing. Winning run was already at 3rd. Put the guy on and play for a DP or at least an out. Just DUMB coaching there.
  16. Fuck. 1st base open. Walk him Pierce and play for a DP. Stupid
