  1. Missouri just went 3-27 in conference. Give you guys 3 guesses who those wins came against.
  2. aggy going to need to win the SEC tournament to make a regional, and even then, it would likely take them winning it to bring back Earley. The big question, does he come limping back to Texas if we lose Tulowitzki? That would likely be the funniest thing, because aggy would claim for the rest of the days that he was a plant to destroy their program.
  3. Do we empty the bench the rest of this series? We have clinched the regular season championship. I would just look to get our midweek pitchers work, while resting some of our regulars. Galvan looked a little gimpy last night. We've likely clinched a Top 4 seed in the NCAA if not the #1 overall right now.
  4. Does Smith go down when Alvarez comes back up? Don't understand the desire to sit his ass on the bench 2-4 times a week. Just fucking stupid.
  5. Yeah, I'm not that concerned about Sarkisian going up against DeBoer or really any coach in the SEC with recruiting right now. Our NIL game and development is just too strong for other teams to overcome if everything else is equal. I do find it hilarious that USC once again went from long time commit to decommit to not even getting a visit.
  6. Altuve is looking like a bottom of the order hitter. Luckily for him, there are only 2 players currently on the team that deserve to bat in front of him.
  7. I would do it to reset the contract one of the younger guys and Eason isn't a long term solution on this team and is a RFA after this upcoming season.
  8. You can easily make room by moving off of players that fell apart in the playoffs. Namely, Green and Brooks.
  9. We are doing the same things we did before McLane sold the team to Crane. Signing vets instead of letting the younger guys play, then waiting too long to trade our vets for real return, save for the Tucker deal which is a lot like the Pence deal, but with a much better player we got a much better return. The biggest mistake we made was not extending Brown, after his rookie season. You waited too long and now he's pitching like a TOR and there is no shot of buying out any of his FA seasons on a team friendly deal. Now he's likely here for another 3 seasons after this one, and we will not have any type of real offense to pair with him. No one should trust Crane anymore.
  10. I am warming up to the big PG from Illinois, if we keep the pick. I'd offer Green, Brooks, and the rest of Phoenix's future for Durant, but keep this pick.
  11. Yep, he's never going to make it through a season healthy. Same thing with the stick in OKC.
  12. This team offensively is weak and slow. Below league average in 2Bs, HRs, and SBs. Nothing exiting about a station to station team with a dumb ass managing it.
  13. Their pitcher today has a era of 34.71, shutout incoming.
  14. What good is he going to do on a team this bad? Framber and Alvarez should be traded. We have no serious MiLB hitters close to the majors. Get rid of Hader as well, if someone will take that contract. It's sad they didn't get Brown done after his rookie year, because he's never staying here after his team control is done. Crane needs to sell the team because his desire to play GM has destroyed the franchise.
  15. Espada is a fucking moron of the highest order that learned from another fucking moron of the highest order in Dusty Baker. Really wish Crane would sell the team to get rid of the HOF Cabal that has fucked this team royally the last 3 seasons and maybe we can get another architect to rebuild the franchise again.
  16. That was a walkoff, after we had scored two in the top of the 9th to tie it off of Jenks.
  17. There is no reason the Rockets should exercise that option.
  18. We could probably get McCarthy from Arizona for dirt cheap right now.
  19. Espada will say, we will thank him next year.
  20. 6 pitches in the 9th, really make them sweat.
  21. You can find shooters, but Stone has never done it. Really, step one of this offseason should be firing Stone.
  22. This is where I come in as well. yes, Giannis is still a great player, but he's 30+ and still can't shoot anywhere on the court outside of 10', including the FT line. We have a team full of those guys, and in today's NBA you need to be able to shoot the ball. Durant can shoot the ball, and we can build a very capable defensive team around him. Get him, and a true two, while keeping most of the core that showed up in the playoffs and everything is easier. Durant also solved another issue for the Rockets, a guy that can initiate the offense in the half court when VanVleet is on the bench. A lineup of VanVleet, Thompson, Durant, Smith, and Sengun is interesting in concept.
  23. When you swing at bad pitches your exit velocity is going to suffer.
  24. This is hilarious. The approach of this entire organization is horrible. This team has no power and only a few players actually take walks. They pair that with limited athleticism, so they aren't really a threat on the bases. They are essentially a station to station single team with a manger that refuses to prioritize advancing runners over letting AAAA hitters swing away.
  25. This is almost right. Just replace Dubon with Rodgers.
