  1. Really need OKC to win tonight so the Rockets can rest the regulars the final few games. It's crazy that 3-11 is still undecided in the West. OKC and Houston are the only teams in the West guaranteed of the playoffs.
  2. The bullpen will always be a problem because our manager is a moron with his management of it.
  3. Wait, the game is over? MLB.com is showing it's still the Top of the 10th. MLB.com is having problems again?
  4. Turns out Blanco was a one year wonder.
  5. He'd fit the need of a big guard that can shoot that Gerry mentioned as the likely last add from the portal.
  6. Gerry also mentioned that Texas is also trying to get the big from FAU, Matas Vokietaitis. Said it was us and a blue blood, have to think that blue blood is Michigan due to Dusty May and Goldin's success moving up a level.
  7. Buxton was out at 3rd, he was running back to 2nd base when the ball dropped. Even with Altuve's arm he was dead.
  8. .600 from the FT line as a guard means you are awful and the reason why he doesn't get 25+ minutes a game but he has elite skills that translate to winning plays. It also helps that most of his production comes off hustle plays and offensive rebounds. Defenses don't really do anything special to defend him.
  9. Arighetti deserves better than a shitty fielding LF costing him 4 runs.
  10. Just move him back to 2B, this isn't going to work.
  11. Just a reminder that Bregman started his career 2-38 and then finished the season with a .931 OPS, of course, the Astros had better coaching in 2016 than they do now.
  12. The dude can hit, he can't play anywhere in the field worth a shit, and we already have a DH, really two.
  13. 52 wins is the best the Lakers can do, while 51 is the best the Nuggets can do. So 2 games for the Lakers and 1 game for the Nuggets.
  14. .412 BTA in his 2 years. He can shoot.
  15. We blew that chance two years ago. Should have signed him to an extension after his rookie season, before he broke out into a stud TOR guy.
  16. Two seasons in a row where we come out of spring training, still in spring training mode. Maybe we should play our regulars more in the spring training.
  17. Down 3 already. Going to tough to overcome this monumental deficit.
  18. This isn't true. His best shooting splits are from his rookie season. I was hopeful this season, after he got his big extension that he would put in real work to reshape his body and get stronger. None of this has happened and he's just too weak with the ball and his body to take contact on drives. While his 3-point shooting has improved, it's still below league average. This combined with his career low in FTr. means that he's overall the same player he has always been for 4 years. When added to his below average defense and basketball IQ you get the worst rotational player on your roster when you are expecting and paying for AS level production.
  19. We are swinging at pitcher's pitches and not good at getting the barrel to ball when the pitcher makes a mistake. We are only striking out 24.4% of the time, so we are making contact.
  20. Green fucking sucks. He's still the worst player (on/off) of the Rockets regulars. 4th year and there has been no real growth in his game. Still upside down on his ORtg/DRtg.
  21. I'd take Grimes straight up for Green right now.
  22. Cintron and Snitker need to be fired, and they can take Espada with them. Horrible decision to not fire those two stooges after the horrible offensive production last season.
  23. He broke it 93, 94, and 95. He wore the big batting glove starting in 96 for the rest of his career.
  24. He's fucking awful with the bat. Giving him anything more than a day a week is too fucking much when you consider the other hole in the lineup batting 9th playing CF.
  25. Izzo just completely outclassed Beard in the last 2 minutes of this game. Revenge for 2019.
