I froze my reports after reading this. It was about 4 months too late. I’m dealing with an account in collections for an Apple Watch that’s an absolute beating. In addition to having my name, social, etc, they used my email + 2 additional #s at the end (a utexas email at that), and my cell with the last 2 digits changed. They also delivered the damn watch to a house I owned 6 years ago.
Nothing like knowing for certain all your personal shit is floating out there for anyone to use. Thanks Equifax. They should be fucking shut down for the breach.
I’d recommend you check out Lardo for casual stuff at Cosmo. Holsteins is good, but Lardo’s sandwiches are great. They have a burger too, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll be there for the first weekend and will report back.
1) Get one of these:

2) Catch rats
3) Drown them and discard them in the river so their friends can’t track their remains
Yeah, that was my reaction when I went to the original location. I think I had duck carnitas or something. Gloria’s margarita is better, it’s definitely “faux mexican” (it’s in West plano), but the skirt steak dishes are legit.
Quick checks on costs - $65 - $140 / person for round trip. Assuming 12 hours - leave New Orleans ~1 for a 7pm game - and we get about 20. Price range depends on type of vehicle - shuttle vs actual party bus.
I’ll second al biernats for great Dallas experience.
Neighborhood Services wasn’t as solid last time I went, but you’ll get away with a smaller bill. If you’re willing to go north to Plano for mexican, check out Mi Dia for something unique and delicious - skirt steak with either stacked enchiladas or Chile relleno. They also have an extensive tequila list.
For sure. It’s not quite the same as it was in bishop arts though. Not better or worse necessarily, just different.
I don’t know if this was the case before the move, but you can get some of cane rosso’s off menu pizzas (honey badger/bastard) at Zolis. I think the Zolis style holds the toppings for them better.
It’s been several years since I’ve been to Lockhart in bishop arts, but I’ve been to the Plano location a few times in the last 2 years. It’s consistently overpriced trash - some of the worst bbq I’ve had.
I liked the original location. It wasn’t super consistent, but at least the food was edible when they were off. On a good day, it’d compete with Hutchins, Cattleack and PL.
