That rendering is horribad. Looks like MS Paint. Here's a better/more recent one I found:

I'm still not a huge fan, tbh. Interesting idea but otherwise it's pretty blah.

    Pedestrians in LA?

NASCAR is giant Lee Greenwood song and their ratings are plummeting.  It's easy for the NFL to blame their ratings on the kneeling but they may want to rethink that.

I don't get the appeal of watching a bunch of rednecks hotrodding around in a circle all day. Would rather watch a 3 day cricket match.

  3. How hot in the middle of August?

Considering a nice flat for 6 nights - 6th floor with an elevator, but no A/C.

Fans will be provided if we ask.  Nice view of the Eiffel Tower, about 2 blocks from the River in the 8th Arrondismentwhatever. Rue Passy area.

    What say you folks?

I’m sure the dumbass Aggy is yucking it up with other redneck dipshits about how he showed that stupid sip Randy by taking whatever he can find on wikipedia and trying to disprove him.

Look at Wikipedia - aggy claiming they are not a branch of the University of Texas.

I’m not disrespecting 90 day wonder vets.  I’m disrespecting aggy for misrepresenting their number of commissioned officer alums by including men who trained their for 3 months.

    Yes, I understood that.

It appears some aggy are legends in their own little minds.

I never went to the Barn so I didn't see the lady on the swing. I'm guessing a few of you did.

A gf (dated her off & on in HS and at UT) was one of the first girls on that swing over the Barn bar. She graduated from UT, became a social worker, and later married a psychiatrist who worked at the State Hospital.

  7. A high school buddy of mine borrowed a car - a 1959 Buick Electra sedan - from his friend (the owner of El Gallo's on S. Congress) one Saturday night in 1962. We were cruising from one party to another - the last being at a location "up" S. 1st. The cop clocked us at 90, but wrote the ticket for only 75 - so we three punks split it for $25 each to pay Judge McBee.

That was around midnight and I don't recall seeing one other moving car except the cop cruiser behind us.
